Ive met his Mrs shes really has a cunning stunt and aptly named so.

Yes, I had been wondering if other TSF members had mis-typed "cunning".

This is an old, and well-tried example of an ebay con trick, with an almost watertight legal defence, in that he has stated explicitly that the only thing for sale is the photos, and not the actual coins, yet asking what would be a too-good-to-be-true bargain price if it was for the coins, in the almost certain knowledge that many ebay buyers will be so greedy, stupid, or a combination of these, that they will bid and pay, with almost no legal redress.

It does seem to have fooled at least a few TSF members, but at least they were not making a bid or purchase.

😎

On the proverbial other side of the coin:

We used to offer on ebay advice about investing in gold coins and bars, for a Buy It Now price of £1. This was a cost effective and legitimate way of advertising on ebay.

One Klutz bought 10, and then complained because he "expected to receive at least some gold"! This was despite us having tried to make it absolutely clear and idiot-proof that we were offering advice and not any physical product.

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

The portrait version isn't released until tomorrow. Quartered arms has been released however.

So, is £500 cheap

No unless you have a guarantee of the potrait at rrp ( then you will be in it for £760 for the set) and safe....relatively speaking.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip
