Now a rise to $500 I could definitely cope with [emoji1]

My stack would be worth a quarter of a million quid!!!

that's cos you reset your stacks numbers recently?

HH

Yeah, sold all my semi-numi silver for sovereigns (an interim stage to make sure I didn't spend the money) and then bought back into silver for as cheap as possible.

I made about 8% in the end on the semi-numi, but lost about 1.5% on the sovereigns. I haven't factored the gain into my calculations though, just what I paid for my silver divided by the number of ounces (all in cost including shipping).

Silver looking really good to me right now as an investment.

Especially when you look around at all the other alternatives.

What's the current silver to gold ratio? Edit: still 78.

I should have anticipated the surge lol

Brexit talk has seen GBP getting sold down to levels not seen in a few years - you could view it as the GBP price of silver, or that the pound in our pocket is worth less. This is why we accumulate precious metals.. just wait until it kicks off on a global scale.

£11 per oz barrier broken

Been a big rise today. I'm watching with interest!!

Same here, loving the price rises (possibly as I'm buying a new house and not buying PM's at the moment).

Enjoying watching spot rise to my £/oz average, only 5% rise to go before they meet [emoji1]

Between $13 and $17.50 is a fairly wide and safe margin to call.

They don't like giving short term predictions - because it's too easy to get them wrong and they have as little idea as most people.  At least with longer term predictions there is a much higher chance that gold/silver is going to hit the price you predict at some point as long as you don't predict a crazily high or low price.

True but at least they give full explanations for the reasons, so we can judge for ourselves if we agree or not rather than saying silver with be £10,000 and gold £1000000 without any sensible rationale
