To be fair they will sell out regardless even if they don't bother emailing anyone. Only reason I can see them doing a video early is to create more interest for their longer term goals.

I believe you should be able to whack your credit card on any purchase at the time, but also have the option of preloading your account if you so wish. But I will defer to others if they they know more than I.

I’ve always just checked out with my credit card. I’ve never added funds to my account.

 

if you do add funds, does anyone know if you can pull it back out without much trouble?

You may be confusing this (unless things have changed now) with the bullion side of things. You normally have to have cash in the account to buy bullion but you can buy directly with a card from the non-bullion part of the website. There used to be two different sites but these were merged last year. Hope that makes sense.
