If this is a start of a gold-rush, Russia dumping US Treasury's and securing physical gold via a back door, Zimbabwe - buying CME Options that at expiry will be demanded to be filled in physical gold form rather than cash settlement, will that be US physical gold, or will Chicago use London gold? That could present 'emergency measures' being applied against individuals holding/trading physical gold within the UK.

We don’t have any gold, do we? Whose problem would it be? The government’s or the market makers?  I really don’t understand so I apologise if it’s stupid.

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

The BoE have 5000 tonnes in its vaults, second largest after the US. Raises barriers against it being repatriated as that is inclined to induce wars/problems. A hangover from when the UK was the global hub for accounting/law/finance. A gold-rush, when there's 120 times more paper gold than physical gold could see the BoE vaults being emptied along with the leverage that otherwise provides the 'West'. Could induce wars.

Their shorts are getting burned.

I’m betting that there are various HF’s and banks that have taken really serious hits on their shorts.

The thing is why isnt mainstream media reporting about gold prices. Because the governments dont want moral panic that's why...

But mainstream media is there to educate and inform us, isnt it ?

It not about selling advertisements, pushing political agendas, reshaping society, set agendas, push world globalist polices, biased and selective reporting,  prioritising SJW and woke news, peddling doom and gloom porn 24-7, sensationalism, pushing conflict driven narratives or looking after cooperate interests surely is it ?
