Today I Received.....

Message added by ChrisSilver

The Today I received section is for private individuals to share items they have purchased for their collection / as part of their investment.

The Today I received section is not to be used for businesses to promote their business. Trade members and those operating as a business in the eyes of the forum are invited to enquire about a Dealer Sub Forum, where you may start your own Today _____ received topic to post your commercial purchases. E.g. The Today Chards Received..... topic.

Made my first purchase here on TSF earlier this week; thanks @arphethean for making the process so straightforward.

My purchase arrived this morning, the KCIII Royal Arms. Just the Coronation Cypher coin to go and i'll have completed my mini coronation themed collection.

These are great coins.  If you can afford a gold one, get a 1/10th, really looks great😮😮

A bit of silver thanks to @gji25.
I'm going to make them into some Christmas gifts. Let me know if anyone is interested in the end results. I'm considering antiquing these and putting them on a short chain for keys or a bag charm.

Still looking for a 1oz Welsh dragon and a 1oz tree of life

Whoever receives these gifts will be delighted- I love the Owl - Athena or Sophia (wisdom), lovely 🌞

A coin is not only a store of value but a store of beauty.

I'll post the end results when done. Hopefully they will look just as lovely or better and I don't end up ruining them. 😱

Who's your friend Scrooge McDuck?

So very close! You could argue half correct - the friend is the illegitimate love child of Scrooge McDuck and Warren Buffet.

Scrooge Buffet also benefits from the Rothschild family’s money nous as they adopted him as a baby when Warren Buffet couldn’t face a child with feathers.

Gotta love me some sovereigns. Nice one James.

...jeezus did the RM fall badly with the new copper ones. I swear from these type of pictures you can really appreciate the true yellow oldie goldie ones compared to the "modern" variations we have to suffer nowadays.

Some world coins. Diversifying from the sovereigns for a moment (though still not finished a sovereign date run)

Varying condition. Some are satisfactory whereas others will be improved over time.
