It beggars belief that they send a coin like that out, while charging GBP600 for an VF 1959 Gillick.....

Na no videos, I am guilty of being drawn into the inflation concept. I mainly hold fiat. Only a small portion is for pm's. As for keeping it simple, that was the old me, the new me sees what is going on around him and feel I need to make a change (somewhere).

Yes, 50s and 60s, it was just normal currency, pockets were fully of halfpennies, pennies, threepences, sixpences, shillings, florins and half crowns. So many coins were Victorian an Edwardian including the shiny stuff. I was not aware (and I dont know anyone who was, aware of the silver differences. adults were too busy rebuilding the country after the war. (Which reminds me, all this moaning about baby boomers, everything we have we worked for and worked bloody hard for)
I wont be caught out again though. As the xenophobes start to mint "true British" currency, all trace of the European experiment will be air brushed from history. I am collecting one of every decimal coin ever minted for each of my two grandkids.

I bought the au bullion to date. They didn't do the 2021 OX except proof, now the 2022 tiger is only available in proof and we'll have to wait for a decision on whether the bu tiger will be in production. What a load of boll***s. I preferred the early coins much more interesting design to look at. The newer coins are just plain boring. I'm not filling the gaps with proofs thought, I'll just call it a day. I couldn't trust the RM with the Quality for proof prices. Shame thought I would have liked to have a full set of these.

The pulled the plug on the BU silver version, I was collecting those, bought a display box and everything then they just decided to can it halfway through, still happy to peddle the proofs and the massively overpriced cupro-nickel coins though.  This combined with the shocking quality control of the proofs and the fact this does not even look like a coherent series it changes halfway through was what made me decide I'm done with the Royal Mint.

    @CollectorNo1
Nothing has failed. Physical silver is being taken out of the hands of the banks and into private hands. The COMEX is being drained. SLV is being drained. The mints are being drained. The dealers are selling out.
i have a friend who is in the silver trade - i talked to him today, he tells me the market has been tight for months. Its is getting tighter. He says he is lied to everyday about how much physical there is.
Nothing has failed if you are referring to turning the screw. i don't want the price to shoot to the Moon - i want to load up more.
The silver market will not blow up this week or next week but paper market days are ticking down. Those on the dark side will lie and lie and lie. They know the jig is about up.

An interesting chart i happened to see posted on Twitter.
Pretty quickly i saw 2 cup and handle chart patterns.
The first cup starts off in 1800 and whatever, with the other side of the cup completing in around 1968 - the handle then forms and we see the expected pull back complete in the early 1970's. Then there is the price take off with culminates in the Hunt brothers' blow off top in 1980.
A second cup then starts to form. The cup is complete in 2011. We have been experiencing the handle forming in recent years. Assuming the pattern plays out it is all up from here. We will complete the handle at $50 and then price explodes upwards in a multi-year bull run. We could be looking at $100's per ounce in the end. That might not mean much of course b/c unlike some people i expect inflation on steroids so your dollars won't go very far.

Silver protects you from the blood sucking Vampires on Wall Street! Traditionally in history silver is used to kill vampires & werewolves 😂
Buy physical silver and it will expose the fake silver manipulated derivative paper contracts markets because there's not enough physical to cover those iou silver paper contracts.
Physical silver is sold out everywhere! Even when market price of silver pulled back now. This exposure will lead to 2 main silver markets, one is the physical market and the other is the fake derivative market that is worthless with a huge price difference between the both markets that will show the world the manipulation in silver.
Physical Silver is the only affordable real insurance we small retail investors can fall back on once the dollar crashes.
Gold & silver has been in the markets for 1000s of years and still will be. I don't think anyone can say Amazon, Tesla, Microsoft, Google and such will still be here in a 1000 years lol. Jeff Bezos billionaire owner of Amazon is stepping down from his company soon.

I paid no attention to WSB untill slv was mentioned on the weekend. My eyes lit up, from my own personal pov I have only been in PM's since 2017. It was good to see a lot more eyes focussing onto the silver and gold markets even if it was for a short term.
In my opinion the price is being smashed down to discourage investment, it's all good because most are here for the long haul flights. With regards to Gme, a few friends got in. One guy put 4k and total value is now £600. Every milenieul seems to be investing and buying stocks & cryptos it's the "hot thing right now." Dangerous territory.

Silver rising by 10 percent in a a few hours is epic, however the bullion banks control the price and put downward pressure by dumping millions of paper silver onto the market. Now there is a shortage of physical  silver so the price has got to go higher over the next year and 2021 will probably see a 35 percent rise in Silver.

i thought gold and silver were created in exploding stars and deposited (on the surface) by falling asteroids. So how would precious metals be at the core? All made up but it sounds good.

These people have no idea what is going up under the surface. Drilled out oil fields fill up again from lower levels - but no!; oil comes from ancient dinosaurs and stuff which magically got kilometers beneath the surface (yeah right). Never a fossil found in oil but it makes a good story. The Earth is expanding - that's how all the continents fit together like jig saw pieces when you removed the oceans.
These people just make some sh it up and call it science. It is a veil to cover the truth, to keep you blind.

Over the next twenty years the price will rise and fall. This current prediction is just another ski slope on the charts. Up or down over the next week, and whether part of a large scale manipulation effort or not, it will still be up beyond where we are now, in twenty years’ time.
Enjoy the ride and remember that only the super rich can profit on day trading in this atmosphere. I will have to wait years to see a decent profit on my holdings!

Despite being on the internet since the 14.4K days I didn't get involved in the memewars/Gamergate as they hit their peaks, it didn't interest me and seemed like a 'detached from real life' affair. I'm starting to see the power of such things when there's a 'fight' to be had over a collective cause. This is turning out to be very interesting...
