Managed to buy over half kg of sterling commemorative coins when eBay has its 10% off offer, ended up way below spot. Promptly had them melted into this lol.

I offer

1 sealed rare Sharps Pixley 1 oz bar,

1 oz of mixed world silver coins (actual silver weight 1 oz, total weight may be more). Many of these will be worth way more than spot. Or the winner can pick from a selection of 1 oz bullion coins from my stack. Will share photos of world coins to allow decision making easier.

Saved these lot from a scrap dealers melt pile. No idea if they are the real deal, they do test at various silver purities. Even as curiosities am happy to have them.

Just had a look at a few recent sold listings - some very worn 925 versions sold for £13+ where spot value is currently around £9.40. Plenty of good examples going for £20+. Even the 1935 "rocking horse" 0.500 crown often goes for £20+ where spot value is currently around £5.

The 50% rarely sell less than twice spot value. Always in high demand.

Been trying to figure out the best way to store my crown sized coins. Storing in tubes causes rim damage, stacking them in a box in capsules wasn’t attractive, and coin display suitcases are too bulky.

thanks to a few forum members I managed to get hold of Panda Coin Trays (still looking for more so let me know if you have any cheap!)

Decided to try them and I must admit I love them. They stack, they are light and you can see the coins both sides. And fit well in safety deposit boxes.

Most likely fakes, made of real silver. Thought they were cool so saved them from the melting pot at a refiners. Smaller than a 5p coin 80% silver

Minted different countries and years. Top one looks circulated. They vary in weight and dimensions often. Have about 30

Well am happy today! Been missing the 2003 bar from this date run calendar bar set. Finally found one. Each is 100 grams pure silver. I wish I could find capsules for them.

Not exactly vintage but still love these 2 oz Engelhard-Australia poured lozenges. Bit of a premium to get them in but happy with them.

A well worn half eagle, my first US gold coin. At 3% over spot I am not disappointed. Just wish it wasn’t this smooth lol.
