I am not 'aiming' any of this comment at yourself @272, I'm just using your post to explain a point
They've been doing this since at least I started buying (2016). Many (most/all?) of their terrible/worst releases have had QC stickers.
They've also been producing many flawless coins over the same period.
So, I'm rather shocked to be reading some long-term customers of the Mint say on here that they've been listening to feedback, have upped their game etc - that could be misleading to newer customers/collectors imo. It's ONE release. That they HAD to get right. They did. They did the basics of their job (that they charge a huge premium for). We shall see with the rest. I'm delighted that folk are delighted with the first (not my cup of tea - I'll settle for the BUNC) but there's a long five years of Royal Mint 'QC' ahead.

You wouldn't want to see my pocket piece. I'd be worried seeing a grown man fiddling in his pockets . This time of year i would prefer a conker or two rather than a coin . 

I've been boycotting them the last 10 years, and they haven't noticed yet! 😎

Just got my two 1 0z silvers from Koin club - both going back.  Milk spot on one and scratch on the other.  No option for swap so a straight refund, Such a shame as the first 3 gold coins I got were perfect.  I will have a think if I want to reorder them from elsewhere or leave it.

Second 1oz came today but looks like someone elses return as massive mark and scratch on the coin

The point that the coins are handled is of course obvious. However it may not be quite so obvious to our fellow forum members just how ‘roughly’ handled they can be (assuming that my coin was a typical example). Suffice it to say that any novelty value that I might have felt for the coin very soon wore off!
However each to their own…..

Yes, always great when an order arrives, especially if it's a weighty piece of silver.
Better still for me, is if I buy a pile of pre-20 silver coins on weight without knowing exactly what's in it or a mix of silver/non silver coins and I have to go on a treasure hunt when I open them. Love it. But then I still get excited when going out hunting for conkers in the autumn. I guess I'm just either a big kid or a treasure hunter... Or both.

I used to do that about the sausage waving, but to my expense doing it publicy on the 07.32 train to work, wasnt very popular. Only becuase the fact no-one had any magnifying glasses in thier possesion!
