Cheers - I'm very jealous, I think the mirrored field on the proof really makes the design!

It's for sure a great looking coin... Even that great that i'm thinking about starting a date run, but i think that would cost me a kidney... However the difference in price between the carded BU and the proof was not that big at all... Why you didn't bought the proof?

@PolarPanda glad to hear you like the Roos! What's that square Seasons Change card (a booklet perhaps?) out of interest? I ordered four but didn't get one of those!

You have 2 versions of the BU Kangaroo. You have the seperate BU coins and the BU's in a special coin card which is a bit more popular amongst the Roo collectors. Given the fact that the difference in price was not a lot i bought 3 carded versions instead of the loose coin. Hope this helps! :)

None whatsoever, a superb quality coin. They are collectable proof coins with a limited mintage and as such will have a high premium assuming people want to buy them. The last couple of years have been 1000 mintage although previous years were more.

Yeah i see the first releases had a mintage of 8.000 and now they went back to 1.000. Still they look very interesting and 'unique' to me. Thank you for sharing that picture!

The silver proof beasts come in 1oz, 5oz, 10oz and 1kg. 5oz has the same diameter as 10oz, so,  since they are only different in thickness, I stick to the cheaper 5oz.

Aha! Again something i learned! Thank you! Very nice piece by the way! Congratulations! :)

Queens Beast PF70 5oz Silver Lion. It can join my Unicorn, which still needs grading.

Takes a bit the fun out of returning substandard coins to the mint and then hoping for a good grade for the one you keep; but this one cost me less than new from the mint (!)

5 OZ? I guess you mean 10 OZ?
