He does post outside of ??

I don't say he doesn't my friend :) I know he  does, but without a German adress you can't make an account on the website. Because of that Mariner1961 has to contact topic starter so he can make an account for him ;)

Quite like this but can't see it on pre-order. Have you found somewhere?

I think it's a lovely design and well worth it. I hope it will look the same (or better ;)) in hand. I found it on the website of the topic starter,  Münzdachs.de and for a very nice price too. If you don't have an adress in Germany you can contact the topic starter. He will help you with that, great guy by the way.

I think the coins look like the pictures above, but the 100 mintage is the sweet spot. The Mayer mint are doing good things right now

At the moment i made my response there was not a picture yet :P In anyway, i putted the silver proof on order. The gold one is a little bit out of my budget -_-

Back from grading from NGC and 70s across the board.

2002 Jubilee £25 and 1/4 Platinum Koala were just loose coins in caps so thought I'd might as well neaten them up.  I hadn't noticed the Eagle privy on the Koala until I saw the label.  The £25 is same the same spec as a sovereign.

2000 Isle Man and Gibraltar coins were bough close to spot and are 1/5 oz each.  Not really my cup of tea but it was something different and a good size and price.  Minted by The Royal Mint and came boxed with COA but took up a lot of room.

2010 Piedfort Maples came boxed and again too up quite a bit of space.  The gold is the main coin but thought I might as well get the silver done as well and keep them as a pair.

2017 Chinese Rooster Medal.  Came boxed etc and is a keeper so thought I'd slab it to make for better viewing.

2017 Rwanda Rooster.  Only 100 minted so might as well.  If it had been normal high volume minted bullion I wouldn't have bothered.  Well happy to get a 70 with this one with it being such an expensive coin in the first place.

2016 & 2017 1/4 Korean Tigers.  Boxed with COA etc and are keepers so slabbed to reduce space and make for easier viewing and storage.

Love that graded golden Year of the Rooster! Congrats my friend! Also those Korean Tigers... First time i see them being graded an PF70. Very nice!

  5. It's a shame that peoples that obviously like the design are pushed aside by the 'haters' of it. It's like a disgrace when you buy it... Ofcourse it's not! I've heard a lot of peoples over the last days that said that the coin is growing on them. After i saw the movie from numi and i talked to some others that received the gold 1/4 proof i decided to buy it and i 'm very looking forward on receiving it. I respect everyone's opinion, but i don't understand the intense hatred for this coin.

  6. Today i received these Chiwoo Cheonwang I & II but i'm very disappointed. When they arrived  i noticed there was some liquid in the capsule. As you can see the first edition has some serious toning around the edges. Now i know why the seller only accepted wire transfer and no paypal. Last time i buy coins on Ebay like that. Anyone maybe has a fix for the toning on the edges? Would be much appreciated...

The square caps are the 'Lighthouse Quadrum' bought from Andy Jack on E-bay. Super reliable coin supplies man. Few TSF'ers bought bits and bops from him too.

    £5.95 for 10 caps.

I do love these square caps, they are very compact and perfect for my storage needs.

Lighthouse (or 'Leuchtturn' original Germany company)  also makes an excellent storage box called Intercept Q 100.

Yep, the Round caps are airtites indeed and I got the from Amazon UK. They were 26quid for 10! ouch! But thats the cheapest that I could find... I'm sure some one may find them cheaper?
