Just getting back from being out of country for a few weeks and there are a few pieces I had received while I was away ...Firstly, however, are a couple I received just before departing.
Added a 1/4 oz Queen’s Beast Unicorn of Scotland (MS69) courtesy of [mention=3235]mongo28[/mention]! And companion bullion 1/4 oz Queen’s Beast Griffin of Edward, 1/4 oz Queen’s Beast Red Dragon of Wales, and 1/4 oz Queen’s Beast Lion of England. They all accompany the 1/4 oz Proof Queen’s Beast Black Bull of Clarence!

Go bigger - the smaller bars carry huge premiums -
I have a .3 gram pamp bar - cost is $40 dollars - the bar is so tiny - you need a 20x loupe to look at it.
Buy sovereigns to start - you cant go wrong with them.

Just picked up a King George BU Sovereign "random" for near spot! Can't go wrong for .2354oz of gold!

1901 $5 Liberty (0.23oz) Gold in "BU" condition. (Although the obverse is questionable on the liberty's face. Looks almost too shinny but the entire coin still cartwheels nicely. Picked up as bullion so I'm very happy overall!

I was only wondering the other day if anyone is still picking up American gold, having not seen any on here for ages. Come to think of it, it was usually [mention=378]Numistacker[/mention], perhaps he's gone of US coins?[emoji6]

Really "cherry picking" these days, and picking up the best deals and as close to spot as possible. If I can buy with a built in premiums I will... Pre 33 gold i like to buy graded if possible.

1881 $10 Liberty (.48oz) bought strictly as bullion but please with the advertised XF condition. EBay deals recently have had some near or below spot deals just like this coin. Even better with 10x eBay bucks!

Recently purchased the 2 Escudos so now have to get the 1 & 8 Escudos to complete the set.
The premiums on these really hurt, this baby works out at nearly £7k/oz

Always buying the cheap stuff...
