…..still no communication…..or reply to either of the two emails I sent (both now comfortably beyond their “reply within 24 hours” intentioned message in their autoreply…..such a shame….
I always buy from recommendations and buying from Chards doesn’t sit well with me listening to this. I wanted a couple of oz bars but deciding to go with Atkinsons now. Customer service means a lot. Works out £23 cheaper per oz on metalor too.

For a "reasonable" price you already have an interested party for your spare "cook". But I guess they are highly sought after and the premium was already raised from last year.
The Mintage was 2000 and not as quoted 1000.
You could only buy 2 Proof Kook and now they’ve sold out, so I haven’t got a clue what they’ll be worth. I just loved the coins and not for investment. The HR Tiger is the best.

Yes, palladium has had a rough time recently:
For a while, it was more expensive than gold - its high point was 7th March 2022. I think the main threat has come from electric vehicles as it was mainly used in internal combustion engines (see video):
So, without giving financial advice, I fear the future could continue to be rough for palladium.
Some crazy stuff happening with Palladium and very volatile. You could lose your shirt or earn a fortune depending on which way the wind blows in the industrial sector. If you overlay past performance of platinum and Palladium they follow a pattern of one up, one down and vice versa. Now both down🤪
Risky would be an understatement.
Great Input @Zhorro

This chart only has data back to 2017, but includes a low of about £535
Does that alter your thinking?
😎
Lawrence, you have replied on 2 of my posts looking for advice/thoughts and just posted an arrogant reply. I appreciate you own a successful business in this field but how about offering up something, rather than a pompous mocking reply. You’re better than that.
Just my opinion of course.

My first purchases this year, small angels from @James32 for the kids 1/10’s collections and keep grabbing Liz Sovereigns when I can, this time from @Orpster, turns out we’re almost neighbours!
@Orpster refunded my postage by way of a pint down the pub with me (just dawned on me he could put up a picture of a pint of Guinness on the today i bought thread😂)
Great guy to listen to, far more into coins than myself, so a real pleasure.
I also bought some 1/10th Angels from @James32. Quite a decent chap really.
Beautiful little coins.
Yes, I dropped one before he crashes the post.

I wanted to look at holding a few ounces of Palladium as the price was overtaking Gold and rising due to Industrial uses. Artifically too high IMHO. Seems to now yo yo with Platinum but the sharp decline makes me glad I didn’t pull the trigger.
The million dollar question is that is it worth taking the plunge now? The 1/3 loss from a peak october price (-25% YR)more than covers the VAT.Any thoughts?

Appreciate the replies and have left it with the wisdom of youth.
bottom line, I said if you really want the money-sell it or put it back in your wardrobe.

Many thanks.
