arphethean got a reaction from Oddjob in Panda packaging
Regarding 1oz/30g silver pandas, the last year of plastic film sheets was 2005. These were in capsules inside individually sealed sheets of I think 10 that could then be cut up into singles.
Since 2006 there were no film pouches around capsules.
I am not sure when the trays began but I have seen 2015s in flimsy trays of 30 like you get biscuits in,  and 2016s in rigid hinged trays of 15 which they have come in since then.
@DavePanda would be able to fill the gaps here.

We talk of our coins and collections, sets and books, future hopes of attaining etc but have we paid our love of this hobby forward?, if so how?.
I have two grown up stepkids and a new stepgradson so I told my son his inheritance has been passed on to his son..lol.
This is what I think most of us have promised ourselves, if we don't have any catastrophic need for money then our collection will be handed down but what about others?, have we in any way paid our love of this hobby or investment forward?.
In my case I was talking to my hairdresser one day and asked her out of interest if she wanted her tip in cash or silver, she thought about it and how unusual it would be to take it in silver so selected that, each time I'd get a haircut I'd give her a silver 1 oz coin...she mentioned that her son loved it, she'd given them to him and he sat them on his shelf so I started to base my tips on her son, it has since progressed to a book on grading American coins as well as the silver coin, went into historical coins and for Christmas thus year he will be getting a 2022 Redbook and a couple of error quarters, being double dates to check on, he is now really into coins because of her and my actions...this hobby would die out as a hobby if we don't pass some of the love on, the people at meets and shows are getting ever older and we don't want it to go the way of stamps.
So have any of you gotten someone into this or fed their budding interest in some way to give the gift of a lifetime of collecting, be it change sifting or buying or just studying those coins out there in the either?.
Here's the place to let us know and maybe give some ideas for others here to start the pay it forward this hobby deserves and needs.

Had a call from my RM account manager, i was in the position of being promised a guaranteed/allocated a 2oz gold last week, but could not be sure which, milled or plain edge as i didn't quite qualify for my spend level to 100% guarantee one of the 125 "plain edges" and he would know once they had finished contacting all their higher level Mint Marque members.
Well, i am proud to report, i am an owner of a 2oz Gold "plain edge" Gothic Crown now
One very happy chappy here today !   must me for my "services to the forum" Ive been rewarded from on high

Just a word to everyone out there involved in this morning's blood bath.
Lots of emotions will be flying around regarding queue systems, getting on in the first place and then even buying!
For those lucky few that got the 2 oz gold now comes the even harder bit, actually deciding what to do with it and if you are after profit how to best make that profit.
FOMO and feeling bad for not buying the 2 oz gold is natural but it will pass - this was basically a lottery this morning. I estimated about a 2% chance of getting a gold and 5 oz silver and about 20% of getting a 2 oz silver.
Try to not feel bad if you missed out, its only money and the green eyed monster can be a bad path to fall down.
    Look after yourselves all!

Been in the queue since early morning. Nipped out to the shop, should have only taken 10 mins. Saw an old boy fall and bang his head so stood with him for an hour until help came. Get back home, place at front of the queue expired!!!
I'm such a lucky lucky man.

As a coin dealer you just support the inclusion of ugly coin collectors to the community, otherwise they would be in a special class. Selling a William and Kate coin without laughing must be the Champions League of coin selling.

Were the 4 items added to the buyers basket then he purchased ? As there can be problems with ebay if more than one item is purchased separately and all posted in one package as the same tracking number cant be used for more than one purchase. This would then show up as items not delivered which means a scammer can claim a refund .
Be on the guard with buyers that avoid proper checkout with multiple items and then ask for items to be posted in one package.

I am just having this situation. Posted 4 items in one package to the buyer by Special Delivery. Tracking shows the parcel was delivered, and signed "COV" which may have something to do with Covid? The buyer has raised an "item not received" claim. I have the receipt showing the item was sent at the post office, and a photo of the parcel in the post office with the tracking number showing clearly.
I'm nervous as if eBay decides in the buyers' favour I could lose over £350.
I'm not sure what I can do to protect myself against this situation.

eBay should side with you if you added a tracking number which now shows that it was delivered. I don't think the COV signatures make any difference as I had this happen with a parcel that didn't even need a signature.
