The implication this was the 50p announcement has to be bait, because chards is a coin dealer, whom announced a RM announcement coming soon. Since chards doesn't sell general circulation coins, there wouldn't be any reason to tease this, as it's not their business, they wouldn't receive info on circulation 50p shipping etc and wouldn't be under an embargo for it

We will see a new sovereign soon and I will die on this hill 😎

Don't wish this on poor old Charles, he has only just got the job. We don't want him to do a Liz Truss!

Wasn’t the last time we had three monarchs in one year in 1888. Not with the Windsors but their cousins in Prussia.

1936 is more recent.

George V, Edward VIII and George VI

Yes but unlike two of the three in 1888 (Wilhelm I and Frederick III) who both died, it was only George V who died in 1936.

Okay what about 1978, the year of the three popes? Did they all have coins?

First I must apologise for keeping everyone in suspension for the past 10 days, but I was expecting the Royal Mint to announce last Monday that they were now official suppliers of UK Commemorative Coins to @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer of Blackpool.

As they appear to have been too busy or pre-occupied to announce it, I had to do it for them.

Remember you read it here first.

Seriously? You haven't enough stress in your life already... Will the returns process be free postage at least?

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

It's not that I don't believe you, it's just... The royal mint would bankrupt itself with the lack of QC combined with chards postage costs! 😏

They made £18 million nett profit last year, even after paying for lots of returns!

What does this mean? I thought they already supplied Chards with RM coins. 🤔
