The implication this was the 50p announcement has to be bait, because chards is a coin dealer, whom announced a RM announcement coming soon. Since chards doesn't sell general circulation coins, there wouldn't be any reason to tease this, as it's not their business, they wouldn't receive info on circulation 50p shipping etc and wouldn't be under an embargo for it

Yes but unlike two of the three in 1888 (Wilhelm I and Frederick III) who both died, it was only George V who died in 1936.

First I must apologise for keeping everyone in suspension for the past 10 days, but I was expecting the Royal Mint to announce last Monday that they were now official suppliers of UK Commemorative Coins to @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer of Blackpool.

As they appear to have been too busy or pre-occupied to announce it, I had to do it for them.
