I've heard there's fakes that are made with real gold but obviously at £25 his business model is flawed if thats his method!

I keep seeing these stupid gold foil certificates with random dodgy looking kruggrands, I made the mistake of clicking on one out of interest and now eBay is advertising me loads of them

Idk how anyone has the confidence to sell on eBay honestly, they favour the buyer in disputes, I wouldn't want to risk getting fleeced. Buying on eBay is fine due to the 30 day guarantee, but every time I sell something I do soil myself a bit, in case the buyer is dirty

Not on fleabay but ive just seen a princess diana memorial coin being advertised by windsor mint for £30 with yes 1/200th of gold about £7 intrinsic value. They are even throwing in free watch  Which I suspect is worth more than the coin!

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

Diameter of 40mm. It must be a wafer

For the 'Details' (Specification) to work, this coin must be gold-plated. Its impossible otherwise. This must be a classic example of misleading advertising of the worst kind. Just check out their website - it contains the worst collection of rubbish I've ever seen, even worse than the London Mint Office!.....😱

Thoughts?? This bar is giving me the heebie jeebies.

Actual Perth mint inscription around swan on the bar looks sloppy.

Whilst hard to tell, it appears too thick from what I can see.

Shouldn't the serial number be stamped into the bar and match the blister pack? I don't see a number on the bar.

Nope..... just been looking at them. No serial numbers on the bars like these. Tough one to be honest. Could be a bargain of the century or a good trap for the unsuspecting/brave chancer lol.

The Perth mint Australia looks atrocious

I think you are right about the coarse lettering. See a comparison of exactly this bar on fakebullion.com. Also, apparently, the blister is slightly too big all round.

So here's the one from eBay and one from a dealer site. I'll let you decide from here but it does kinda look obvious now.

Thank you, I assume the fake is the top one with the thick lettering? Bet the real one looks great in the hand😮🤔
