I do hope you all receive your orders eventually, because this coin in hand is amazing!
Received my 5 coin set yesterday and have had a good look and very happy, seems to me to be about as perfect as you can expect.
The Quintuple Sovereign is something special!!
I am no expert, but surely no coin is absolutely perfect. I look at a coin with the naked eye, then with a loupe 5x maginfication. If there are no discernable marks, scratches etc.. the coin will have a good chance of getting a PF or PR 70,if grading is your thing. Personally I do not have any coins graded.
Anyhow, I feel very lucky to have this set.
It will be worth the wait!

Having the same problems as everyone.
Thankfully, I was not interested in making a purchase, but sorry for others.
Think my expectations of being lucky with the Gothic Crown are diminishing!

It was not just one coin, it was the 2 ounce queens beasts silver proof set consisting of 10 coins, limited mintage of 310.
There was a thread at the time (couple of months ago). There were serious production issues with this release, most people had the same issues, namely milk spotting galore!. Also covered in black fibres. Returned for a replacement set (restrike?) and the second set was just as bad!
Incredibly disappointing/frustrating. I am sure I speak for many on the forum.

I would give them a ring and tell them if they are doing a re-strike you would like a replacement! 
Think late friday afternoon may be a bad time (no managers around). Would ring them Monday morning

Just boxed mine up for return, and will drop them off at the Post Office on Monday.
Apart from two of the coins, (looked near perfect to me) the other eight all had milk spotting to a lesser or greater extent. Some quite bad!
It's a crying shame, I could really find nothing wrong with them, apart from milk spots. If only, although a big if!

Following a conversation with the Royal Mint yesterday re above, I have now received an email from Royal Mail - Tracked return service to Royal Mint. The label which you print out says 'Tracked 48'. As anybody used this before? I Assume this is not the same as Next Day Special delivery, with enhanced compensation? in which case no good?      

My 2 oz set also arrived today (no email from Royal Mint to tell me it was arriving?).
Like many others, there are issues with milk spotting, problems with the frosting etc.  Really disappointed!  
Purchasing an expensive item like this should be a enjoyable and seamless experience/transaction!
Will almost certainly be returning them on Monday (busy tomorrow). Trying to decide if I ask for a replacement or a refund? I have no confidence a replacement will be any better.
Don't think I will be buying any silver proofs direct from the Royal Mint again. Other than the great Engravers, if I am lucky. Think that's worth taking a chance.

So, I was one of the many unlucky ones who had multiple bank/credit card errors when landing back on the Royal Mint website following successful card transaction. 
Does anybody know with any certainty why this happened?
Feel sorry for everyone who missed out!
