    Hi,
the 958 is indeed the silver fineness, it's a Britannia Standard silver mark, the next mark is the import mark for London and then the date letter 'A' for 1975.
I can't help with the makers mark unfortunately, it's always hard to get info on modern makers.

    Mobius.

    Thank you!

  2. Hi guys,

I have tried myself already using google and several different websites but I didn't manage to translate them.

Could you help me please ?

    I guess 2nd means at least 958 fine silver, 3rd London, 4th year x ?

    Thanks in advance

Wow! Thank you Whuamai for taking the time, I have spent YEARS... Trying to find something on this bar! It was picked up from the Netherlands years ago. I don't suppose you know where I can read up about the company's history, please?

I only know a very little bit about them. Check out my insta post if you like:

I have noticed that there must have been a cooperation with emeko from belgium, because their bars look quite similar. I have attatched a example picture. There are other bar variats which are similar aswell.

  5. The unknown bar is from a company called ETMA from Belgium. Your bar is quite rare. There are fakes out there from that bar. I assumes yours in real. Although they are quite rare, there is no large collector community for them, so in my opinion that ETMA is worth around 850-900 Euros at a silver price of about 710 Euros at this moment.

    I hope I could help.

    Hi, dear friends!

What do you think about these three coins issued for Luxembourg? They have the same specifications as any 20 Francs LMU, are described as 20 Francs on Numista, but the face value of 20 it is not written on the coin.

Will qualify for a respectable LMU collection?

Any thoughts will be much appreciated.🤗

They have quite low mintages. Some people add them to their lmu collection and some don't. It's up to you.

I have the last type for a bit less if you need ;)

By the way, I liked your post long ago as it's a really nice collection but have just now realised that you are probably not aware that there's also an 1892 one?

1892 is the year of the monetary reform in Austria/Hungary and introduction of the new currency, but these Hungarian 20 francs were still minted with that year and unlike their Austrian counterparts, they are not just restrikes.

So one more to go... ☺️

Thank you! Actually I made a mistake and youre right. One more to go. I also decided to try to get both mint marks of the 1870 and 1871.

    So now i am looking for: 1879, 1986 , 1892, 1870 KB, 1871 KB

Gonna take me a while, but i'll be collecting patiently.

Thanks for asking..but I managed to pick up that little rooster a good while ago. I’m now on the lookout for rare Peruvian Una Libras, Guatemalan 10/20 Quetzales and nice Albanian 1926/27 Skanderbegus if you have any😀😀!

Hey, you're welcome. I got two of the 1900 Roosters today. Now I am only missing the 1901. I have seen these Quetzales only once since I am collecting. Really hard to find. I have sold my 20 Franga's and Libra's already unfortunately.

I'll let you know in case I'll find any.

Hi.die marks were only used from 1863 to 1874. Sovreigns minted in London will not have a mint mark at all that's why I asked if there was a M Melbourne  or S Sydney mint mark? In 1883 no sovreigns were minted in London as far as I know so it should have either the S or M mint mark usually under Vicki's neck? Can you see the initials WW on Vicki's neck????

It has no mintmark and was minted in London. I guess its the  same variant like that one which was auctioned by the coin cabinet auction 41 , Lot 284.
