Received these two beauties on my top most wanted list...A tremendous “Thank you for all of your help!!!” to @richatthecroft for facilitating these purchases from two great The Silver Forum members, @ST1986 and @InvestInCoins888!!
Firstly, finally received one of the most beautiful and tantalizing Gold Britannias, a 2003 1/4 oz Gold Britannia Proof.
And close to closing out my 2017 Gold Sovereign collection, a glorious 2017 Gold Sovereign Proof!! Just need to finish up with the 2017 Gold Double Sovereign (Hint, hint 😁).
Many thanks for the shout @CadmiumGreen A marvellous Britannia design the 2003, definitely in my top 3.

These are 1943 dated Canadian 10 Cents and 25 Cents, both made from .800 silver, the Canadians used higher grade silver in their coins long after the UK had gone to 50% and were still using silver when the UK had stopped using silver altogether.
The 10 Cents coin featured a famous sailing boat called the Blue Nose, this ship was built as a duel fishing and racing vessel and won many races, it was built in Canada in the 1920's and was wrecked in 1946.
The 25 Cents (or quarter dollar) coin featured a Caribou on the reverse, more commonly known as a Reindeer, Canada's coins feature lots of their national wildlife and still do.
Production of the two coins for their specific years are as follows.10 Cents 1943 dated, 21,143,229 minted
25 Cents 1943 dated, 13,559,575 minted
The 10 Cents is roughly the same size as a UK 5p and tiny.I found this little beautiful Canadian 10c Coin in a lot of mixed silver! It’s currently winging its way back to Canada after selling for 3 figures, more than the whole lot of silver cost.

Yes I have bought a few from Baird and have a big order in now 🙂 The 1kg are better to but tyhan the 1000 oz bars as it works out cheaper don't ask me why 😕
I’ve been buying in 2 or 3kg a time range for the last few months and never waited more than a week.
Put in an order for 8 and it’s been 3 and a half weeks without dispatch... Boo!

I’m not sure about this, I have a feeling silver will rise quite a bit in the coming months due to delays, backlogs at the post and shortages at dealers even if the mints open. I’m curious to see if 2020 will be a low mintage for everything
I’m 100% with you here. Once all this virus stuff has settled, I think we will see Silver level out at a significantly higher spot than we’ve been used to.
Im a betting man and I’ll lay a tenner on spot price of silver this time next year between £25-35oz.

Markets are behaving strangely all over the world at the moment. Could be natural or more likely manipulation by governments, although when it's by governments we call it interventions (if discovered). Lol

It’s clear there is some serious manipulation going on right now. You can be sure there is an small group of elite making themselves even more money...

Did you see the 1oz Royal Ams? They look lovely... I filled my basket last night but found a glitch in the system that wouldn’t let me get past the add your address page!

Hang on, wrong one

Silver taking a hit again! I honestly thought we’d be swinging back up by now!

Shows the dramatic rise when you notice such a significant growth in price with a relatively small weight coin! When you think about the value £600 savings would have lost by simply sitting in the bank since November... Hindsight, wonderful thing.

Not touching Gold but paying massive premiums on silver and platinum?, interesting take. Can I ask your thoughts?
Platinum in particular is MASSIVELY undervalued right now. Price correction imminent...

The little free gift sent with the set was a nice surprise 😄
Also, thanks to the Forum members who bought and are currently looking after the items I sacrificed from my collection to secure the set. Hope you all enjoy your purchases, for now, I’ll be pestering you all in due course, for them back 😉
I very much appreciated the advice taken from a Forum member I have much respect of prior to making the purchase: ‘Rich, the Reverse is a little bit Marmite’. But who could deny that the Machin Obverse is an enduring classic.
What I like about this particular set is its completeness- Sovereigns untouched and sealed in the presentation case, COA, original invoice for £388.50! and even the little waxed envelope the Jeweler supplied it in!
Anyway, enough waffle, here’s the lovely 46 year old set.
So glad you love it too! Definitely one of the nicest sets I’ve ever been lucky enough to buy... Makes me feel warm and fuzzy that it’s gone to a collector who will give it the love & respect it deserves 😉

Yeah your right, so it stands to reason when the mints start up again the premiums will come down as the dealers become competative again.
The only issue I see with Platinum in particular though is how undervalued it is. It was already very undervalued before the recent dip, in my humble opinion. Now it just looks ridiculously cheap, a fantastic investment opportunity. Not often you get an opportunity to make big short term gains with PM, I believe this is one!
We just have to hope prices haven’t gone up significantly before mints begin to catch up with production.

I would just like to say about 1Toz platinum coins, The prices are more expensive now to buy a coin than it was before the price dip.
Scarcity... Even Royal Mint mysteriously added £100 overnight to their Beasts Series last week.

This interesting Half Pound Walking Lady dripped through my doorstep on Saturday. The US answer to our 10oz coins I guess...
I do love a substantial coin and as soon as I saw it come up in a auction catalogue, I knew I had to bag it.
Not a coin you see every day, although I have come across a boxed, Proof version in the past.
This coin looks as if someone has attempted to clean in an abrasive way, shame.
