Welcome Eddy! My favourite country in the world. Very lucky to have lived and worked there for 4 years after falling in love with the place at the tender age of 16...
Youll enjoy the forum, good fun and some cracking deals to be had. Shout if you need any help with anything.

It's not amazing I've seen the horse listed here for £45 each
Added 0 minutes later...The 2020 royal arms are selling for stupid money on ebay that's where mine is heading.
Hey Troy, keep your eyes peeled on The Royal Mint site, about once every couple of days last week they released full tubes of Horse of Hanover and other QB’s, for £320 pre tax.
Move had some of the fastest deliveries from RM over the last few weeks than I’ve EVER had. NDD on 12/15 packs, 2DD on 2 and only 1 on 3 days!

The 2020 is still available 😁

At £375 that’s much more like Royal Mint price strategy...

I can only assume you're not incorporating VAT. If you're aware of someone selling physical silver at 15% or 12.5% premium, I'm sure we'd all love a link!
Absolutely! The few that are selling are pricing on their own scale, nothing to do with spot. On ebay £30 an Oz seems to be the new norm.
Its great to hear a week turnaround...

Still 3 weeks delivery?

So sad to see such beautiful coins butchered for jewellery...
I just haven’t had a second to really sit down and go through it all to be honest.
Although I’m ‘working from home’, I’m flat out with my precious metal biz, I have never known it to be this busy before, I just don’t seem to have time to scratch my ass, yet Technically I should have tons of time!

A few more auction buys of late! I managed to bag a kilo of pre 1920’s silver which was heaven to sort through and a couple of kilos of 1920 50% silver. Once I’ve finished sorting I’ll photograph and post as I have discovered some beautiful coins.
LOVE buying lots at auction, they are a gamble, the discovery of searching through them is full of child like wonder!

any of the major suppliers sell bullion.
as a stacker one can get silver bullion around 15 pounds, often brand new. Although I suspect you are referring to libertads specifically?
Not only can I not find reasonably priced Libertads from a European source, I’m actually finding them difficult to source FULL STOP.
I brought a few tubes of the Libertads. 3 had some spotting, the rest were mint.

Yer that is true, I don’t think it’s worth it though as it’s cheaper to get from Europe and they come in good condition.
I’m very interested to know where they are cheaper to pick up in Europe from???

Great event, lovely to meet everyone, thanks for making me feel welcome.
Trade was good, I definitely made my money today. Personally I think we should think of ways to encourage more footfall into the side room...

I would have thought bank transfer is the only way to go for a dealer at a coin fair?
What do you do if the customer transfers the money and it gets stopped for checks? Either way it’s going to take some trust and bullion, like laptops & mobile phones is a magnet for fraudsters.

I’ve been conducting so much business recently through ebay and their 10% daylight robbery (plus PayPal’s share) 1.75% seems like a dream! 😉

I’ve invested in a iZettle. It was only £19 a few months ago, fees similar to PayPal and money goes into my bank account. It accepts a wide range of payments, cc, dc and Apple Pay. The device uses Bluetooth off my phone.
I figure with some coins at nearly a grand in price, I’m better off with a card machine for fairs etc...

Excellent! Yes there is a spare table. I've put your name on the list. And tagged in Numistacker so he is aware also. Please sort out payment with @Numistacker on the day
Back of the net! Thank you.
Who can I talk to about access? My stock is heavy! Thanks

Do you have a table spare? If so, I’ll take it. I’ve got a glut of stock!!!
Whats vehicle access like and parking? My collection weighs a TON.
Cheers

I’m not sure that these 10oz Queen’s Beasts Silver Proof coins have a big following or much interest here- but GS.be have a slabbed 10oz Lion for just over £300 (from memory these cost around £800 from the RM?) £30 an ounce is bullion price territory for the QB’s.
This is very expensive. £180-£200 is usual price. (I have a few for sale). The are quite literally the KING of coins...

I can assure you VAT free silver is NOT a myth. Come next year and we actually leave the EU, who knows?!
