Received another quarter ounce platinum proof from @BritanniaCoinCompany.  2018 Princes Charles 70th Birthday edition. I got it because its low mintage (650) and was good value compared to RM's prices.   I suppose it'll help having to get used to his mug on a lot of coins at some point  in the future (no offence intended to Her Maj 😊).
 

Today I received this lovely BYB TSF 2020 1 Oz silver bar which has been beautifully toned by @Troy77! Probably the most expensive Troy ounce of silver I will ever buy, but well worth it! 🤠😂

A teeny, tiny Silver Jubilee medal in its original RM envelope 
 

The Jubilee Medal I received today is the smaller .925 Silver variety 25.75mm diameter and I believe that it was ordinarily issued in just the envelope- but likely the plush red box could have been purchased as an extra at the time?
 I know this was the case for later sets of coins for example, the 1902 & 1911 Proof Coronation Coin Sets were issued in cardboard presentation cases unless upgraded at extra cost for the plush box.  Purchasers of earlier special RM issues had to rely on jewellers and Gold or Silversmiths to produce fitted boxes- there’s quite a trade for them- hundreds of pounds for some of them. 

Photos below of the impressive larger .925 Silver 56mm Medal- a weighty 87grams as well as the 22ct 13g Gold 26mm Medal and the smaller Silver.   I’m looking out for a nice Bronze example and it would be nice to own the larger 56mm Gold weighing in at over 94g  I’ll await the lottery win first of all! Here’s one that sold recently at Sovereign Rarities- I think it was around £9k.
