Bought quite a bit more silver about a month ago when the price was about £13.
Bought some more a couple of weeks ago when the price was about £10.25.
Will buy again once I've got paid at the end of the month.
Am definitely in at these prices.

Awesome. I bought mine from the RM on the day of release, so yours is a tenner cheaper than mine 😊
I hope you never tire of it. It will certainly be the last coin I would sell.

Mine says hello 😊
I suspect you paid less for yours than I did for mine, so doubly well done!

Yes, a pity. Beautiful design the Britannia- someone commented the other day, speculating that a 10oz Britannia coin might be something the RM could consider- I would like to see this- particularly if they resurrected the older special designs and equally the Oriental Britannia designs would look fabulous as a 10oz coin.
I'm actually quite relieved that the series is ending after 3 coins, because as I've been buying the gold ones as well as the silver ones, it's been very bad for my bank account 😉
That said - I agree that if they made a 10 oz silver version I'd spring for that one as well The 2018 design is my favourite, i think it's the 'purist' version, closest to the original Trade Dollar coins.

Still doing exactly this. Bought silver and platinum again in Dec, bought gold again in Dec and Jan.

^^^ Agreed on all counts

@Stuntman lovely detail on the 1821 half crown👍
Cheers. For the real coin nerds, it's the variety with the heavier garnishing on the reverse!

I missed the boat on the Royal Mint Unas, but here's some pre-decimal coinage inspiration for what I hope might be coming later in the Great Engravers series...
I don't have a gothic crown and would love it if that was one of the future offerings in this series. Same goes for the William IV halfcrown design (the one dated 1835 in the pic, second row, second from left).
In fact - Gothic crown, William IV halfcrown, Wreath crown (the one in the capsule) designs would do me nicely 😀

Here's pretty much my full stack as it currently stands. Mostly gold, but with 30 oz of silver and 2 oz of platinum.
No more additions for me now until next year, when I aim to finish of the Queen's Beasts in 1/4 oz and 1 oz gold bullion and add a 2020 sovereign. Anything else will be an impulse or value buy!

I've certainly seen an original Una & the Lion £5 die with DIRIGIT, and an original coin with DIRIGE.

^^^ I use the iShares ETFs for Gold, Silver and Platinum, held either in my ISA (the Gold ETF) or my SIPP (the Silver and Platinum ETFs)

I have bought a little bit more physical gold, and have added to my ETF holdings of silver and platinum. Will keep buying over the next few months if prices remain at or near current levels.

They SO need to do this as either a 1oz Gold Bullion series with mintages of 5000 per coin, or as a Quintuple Sovereign series with mintages of at least 1000 per coin.
The 2oz gold proofs can then continue to be special and rare, whilst allowing relatively more people (like me!) to own and enjoy these beautiful designs once again at a sensible-ish price.
Come on Royal Mint! And do a 1oz Gold Bullion Valiant while you're at it 😊
-
I sincerely hope they eventually release a 1oz bullion gold coin version. I'd be all over it in an instant. Come on Royal Mint, you know you want to!

Give us a story somewhere on the forum of your visit, I am interested in hearing about it, if you don't mind.
@SILVERFINGER Decent thread here from 3 years ago, including links to other reviews including one from me:

Really nice - well done. Big thumbs up from me. Simple, clear, intuitive, easy to navigate.
All that needs to happen now is for the gold price to fall back by about 20% (I'm still a buyer rather than a seller right now) and I'm all over it!

Nice coins!
Shame they are probably all going to be dates with very high mintages.
What are you planning on doing with them?
