Also if you zoom in on the central coin, you can see in the reflection its a grained edge. Not plain.
Yep you're right, well spotted.

Are anyone in the same place as I who bought the first coin through their AM, then didn't recieved the email nor calls.
My account mananger also is on slick leave as of today... Really bad timing, called this morning his colleague wasn't quite as helpful, I am really scared now regarding the second coin😭.
I think this email thing is more if you didn't get the auto buy when you first purchase. If via your AM you should be fine already to get the second as you will have ordered a different product as these orders had custom product codes. Should be fine, don't panic

In my case, i discovered it myself, it wasn't until i heard others talking about it that it was a bit more out there than I suspected, but knew for sure i wasn't the first one to find it. Funny thing is, I've never had to use it as I get my coins from my AM so they sort everything for me to avoid the "bun fight" on release day for the items im interested in.
The queue system isn't full proof as i know people that have managed to get to the product page before the site is back online to see the list of new coins and its completely random, as in they or myself cant reproduce it again, so i suspect some people just glitch out and get lucky somehow, while others were using the other approach.

Unfortunately someone posted up a quick buy option which basically showed what the issue was to everyone so was hardly surprising when RM plugged the hole. That's why when people find these things out they need to keep to themselves cos once it's out there, it's going to vanish quickly.

Just had the charges on my account refunded, looks like my order might be cancelled!
It's fine, the first charge is to check it will go through, then it will wipe itself when not billed but they will just rebill you when needed otherwise your available money is held for ages which would annoy many people.

Between both palms press palms together and turn. Hey at least your capsule wasn't open on arrival. If it looks good I would just send to ngc in capsule and pay 5$ for capsule return.
NGC have never returned anything ive sent them, capsules , COA, packaging around notes etc, despite asking for it and checking the option , it never comes back. Annoying on things like the large 5oz capsules.

I think 40k is a bit of a stretch atm, and yes they prob have the next one but you can't stop people selling them . The mint don't really like it , they want to help people build collections but they can't really stop it. If they got offered the plain edge they either spend a load, or their am did them a favour which is fair enough. I don't expect too many plain edge will see the main market so atm they are trying their luck with exclusivity I guess. If they get that that's a great return for them, wish it was my coin but it's not so good luck to them.

Or cash everything from great engravers gold in, and purchased tubes of 2022 bullion jubilee sovereigns with the profits for years to come ??? Waiting for spot to continue its rises higher? Good idea ???
I mean why not huh, if you got one of these bad boys and can make decent money on them, why the hell not and enjoy it.
If I sold mine it would be to buy Rolex watches and fit them to my car wheels to spin around as I drive... Baller life!

It can be life changing money, I can see why people sell them and take huge profits, and fair play to anyone that does. That also why so many people then throw about the term flipper in a derogatory way which is pathetic.

Do we think the "portrait" release due in March in will done again in 2oz gold "plain edge" ? I would presume so
That would be my guess and you'll auto get offered the next coin so you have a matching pair. So if you got plain edge this time, pretty good bet you'll get offered it next time too.

you'll have to wait till mid-January I'm afraid, i have read on facebook "

Correct. My am told me the plain edge was shipping in January. But remaining sovs should be here end of the year.

I was told of the next engraver a few weeks ago but I can't remember it. It was a funny name that I wasn't familiar with. Even the person that told me couldn't pronounce properly. And i didn't follow up to check the name as it was in a conversation about other matters. So now I have forgotten entirely.
How's that for some info. The next engraver could possibly be some funny named engraver.
You're welcome.
anyone here jump out to jog your memory?

Nice collection, how much do you think a graded silver kew gardens will be worth in say 10 years down the line
Not sure, I sold this some time ago for a few hundred or so I think. the issue may be its only in demand due to the low mintage, if they turn around and say they did one that had a mintage of 50k then that will be the "new" kew gardens and be in demand.

1500 is a good price!
The last 6 or so 2oz Silvers on ebay all went 1800+ and 4 of them for 2.2-2.5k. value is a funny thing though as some coins seem to go through phases where ebay is cheaper and auctions are more and vice versa.
Agree, I think £1500 is a good price on these. Maybe once the main flippers have been and gone this may creep up a bit towards more the Una level, I just think the silver 2oz in general has been over graded so now it appears "common" in a 70. I have one or two to sell if they ever come back from NGC but will be keeping some for my own collection as its a lovely coin. I know there have been many issues with the silvers having issues post grading (i suspect someone put hand sanitiser on and it effected the coins when grading, just my guess), so there may be a delay for a lot of these to appear on the market. With the over 1000+ x 70 grades for the 2oz atm, I've not seen the market flooded in the way I would have expected yet.
Time to drag the Royal Mint's business model in to this century?
