I was on RM site for half8, patiently waited, did it all by the book. At 9am I was placed circa 1600 in the queue.
I wanted the 5oz silver but would have been happy with the 2oz.
By 9:30 it was obvious I wasn't going to get the 5oz, but I stayed on for the 2oz. I was still around 400 in the queue when people started to say it was a sell out.
Not my day for silver. 
I did treat myself to a 1984 sov (birth year). So all things considered, I'll go to bed happy.
Let's be honest, the fact we are all in the position to even contemplate spending these kinds of sums on coins, means we must doing something right!

LOL I got nothing but my son who was number 19 in the queue got the 2oz silver & said he could have got the 2oz gold if he had a spare 5K anyway I'm over the moon for him as he is only 18.

My favorite series - the Australian Opal coins. Hard to come by, but got a few this week. Plus a 1/10 oz gold Britannia from Atkinsons as an inflation hedge. The Aussie coins go to NGC.

Picked up some 1/2 sovereigns as I wanted some fractional bullion a nice date run and 1 or 2 are very good quality the 1914 will go for grading and most probably the 1913.  Enjoy the video  Dave

Royal Mint 2018 Silver Proof Collection
Mintage - 596.
The second annual set following the lamentable demise of the round pound coin proved to have an even lower mintage than the 2017. These 1p - £2 silver proof definitive coins were only available in this set I secured a wooden "Premium Proof" box - including the 2018 RM Medallion - for storage in preference to the original shiny black box. Further to French polishing it should look the dogs.

I have been looking forward to getting my hands on this, massive thank you to @SilverDrum for coming up with this.  This all started out as some banter on the 2022 sovereign launch and some guys were talking about buying the £95 limited edition print from the Royal Mint.  Then @SilverDrum took a screen shot and printed this out, it gave me a massive laugh and I loved the lateral thinking.   The chat is going backwards and forward  then Silverdrum posts a picture with him having coloured it in......By this time a nearly pooped a lung out with laughter.   (you had to be in the chat).   
Silverdrum put this up for auction and there were some very kind bids from @AndrewSL76 @Darr3nG  @Paul @dicker @LukeStacker all top guys, sorry if I missed anyone else who bid or donated.   I won this auction with a bid of £55 and a pledge of £20.   I increased the final amount to £95.01 as  to me it's worth more than the Royal Mint offering.......And it came un damaged and in pristine condition! 😂😂😂

So these arrived today, the 2012 5 coin set all PF70 grade. Never really thought I’d be interested in full sets until I got the 2022 but now I think I’ve got the bug! The 5 coin is most definitely a sight to behold. This is most definitely a long term hold. Would love to get an original box just to have with it. Would also love to get a full set in the 2016 sovereign as well

Away in Devon and managed to sniff out a antique shop with some coins and silver in and picked these up at £20 an ounce I think so …….

This week my 2021 1 ounce BYB branded bar arrived,  the 2020 George H.W. Bush Coin and Chronicles Set which has a Silver Presidential Medal, and a type 1 bullion 2021 silver American Eagle to go along with my 2021 type 2 2021 silver American Eagle & my 2021 reverse proof silver eagle set

Finally got a “3 Graces” 2oz! even if it is a 69. Can live with that. Cracking coin! 

… and the Mr Happy! I think I love the box as much as the coin!!  

Received my 2022 Sovereign from Chards today.  Coin was packed with a piece of bubble wrap inside the presentation box to keep the capsule from opening in transit which I really appreciated.  Specks in the picture are just on capsule, the coin itself looks great.  This was my first purchase from Chards.  It definitely will not be my last.  I'm very pleased. Thank you @LawrenceChardfor a quality purchasing experience.

After almost two weeks wait (had to self isolate due to Covid) I picked these babies up today.
All inspected and in great condition.  No capsules had come undone and to the naked eye they look perfect.  
 
 

Still looking for a few £5 coins which are proving to be elusive at the right price so diverted to buying some Sov's and continued with my US mint HR collection.

Another couple of coins to add to my Ghana collection. Just 2 more left. Great condition. Loads of history of military coups, government initiatives and monarchies told through the coin design. Very rare and ever been graded by NGC so I’ll be sending them off to be preserved 😊

Nice old Carson City Morgan Dollar. Bought at the last @CoinsOfTheRealmAuctions. Paid a small fortune for it but worth every penny.
