I had that a couple of times when I used to import coral from USA, never got any parcels. Im sure yours will be ok though. We need a "Today I didn't receive" thread.
Was supposed to be getting my monster box delivered tomorrow by Fedex but after checking the tracking I now have:
"Shipment exception - Delay beyond our control" on Wednesday and Thursday.
Scheduled delivery date now just says "Pending" and "No scheduled delivery date available at this time"

If it was me I would keep it for a month or 2 as I generally have a look at my coins every few days anyway & if I found the copper spots to be annoying still after that time I would get it conserved. Thats my personal preferenceBut....tempting.....

ty & Requirements- All U.S. and World coins that PCGS currently authenticates may be submitted.
- You must be a current PCGS Collectors Club Member or PCGS Authorized Dealer to submit coins for PCGS Restoration.

You also acknowledge that some coins may have problems that are not apparent until removed from their holder.

- Genuine with Details is the default Genuine service. 'Genuine only' or 'Do Not Holder' options can be selected on the submission form.

Got to be worth conserving even just to get rid of the copper spots. If it achieves a higher grade then great if it gets the same at least your coin has more eye appealIndeed. Our very own numistacker has recently taken care of a set of these.....I have the 1/2 and double now and will be looking for a reasonably priced full and 5 sov as time goes by.....not a cheap bunch of coins to buy at all........once you get one, you feel like you have just bought a house - ooh, got on the ladder type feeling......beautiful design......distinctive, rare and forever desirable, and of course with a plain edge. Distinctive. Yes. That ‘s the right word for this coin. Any experts think sending this in for conservation is worth it.....as there are a couple of copper spots on the fella’s cheeks.....better pic....second one much higher resolution......thoughts ?
