That was quick!  Impressive delivery time for the RM.  Man, those Gold proofs look even better in your photos than on the RMs website.  How's the quality on both?  Have you put them under the loupe yet?  I must say, I'm hoping for the best from a quality perspective for my 1 oz Silver proof but I'm keeping my fingers crossed just in case :)

Thanks I really like them they are a lovely coin.  Under the loupe the obverse is not perfect there are a few dots. Compared to the Lion 1/4 gold they are great quality.

The Lion was a nightmare it took me ages to get one I was confident to send off for grading.

Maybe they actually did a proper quality check and weren't happy with the condition of the the majority of coins, that and slow sales so they pulled them

It’s looking like that is what’s going on. I wonder if they will reappear.

I will phone them and ask tomorrow.

I live just down the road from the mint they are very cagey regarding this coin. I have two on back order and cant get much sense out of them. Also I know others who are waiting and going by what my friend was told they have been pulled.

Splendid! Do you happen to know the maximum mintage of these? RoyalMint only shows "over 60% already reserved" but no numbers. Thanks, Aaron

    Edit:

Found these numbers: 8,500 for the 1 oz. silver, 1,500 for the 5 oz. silver, 2,500 for the ¼ oz. gold, and 750 for the 1 oz. gold.

    Can anyone confirm these?

Not sure on the mintage of the Queens Beast ¼ proof.

500 disappeared from the amount available. About six days later the remainder vanished and they became no longer available. Within hours they were sold out everywhere.
