So I finally have email stating tracking number for 2oz....... I don't suppose a gold one will be in it
Snap... I just go details on mine
I have just got my dispatch email as well. Can’t wait for it to arrive. 😀
just hoping there aren’t any quality issues…

Had the dispatch email last week but mine still shows on Royal Mail tracking as ‘Sender preparing item’. Hopefully this means they have saved the best for last! 😅

A similar company (possibly related to this one - based in Poole) did a loss-leader deal on a coin which i purchased. Unbeknown to me (and subsequently found in very small print) i had agreed to a series of coins. As soon as i noticed this i emailed the company and informed them i wished to opt out of all further coins....
Of course, a month or so later the second coin appeared through the post. When i contacted them and pointed out that i had stated in writing i wished to receive no further coins they requested that i send it back. I declined to do so and informed then that it could be collected from my home address, by appointment, during working hours.
They told me to keep it gratis.
Subsequent to that i receive approximately 3 glossy advertising letters from them a week.
I must be costing that company a fortune and can only assume that enough people buy their over-priced stuff to make this business model viable.
I think it’s the London Mint Office that do this. I didn’t see anything that H&B do this, other than the glossy postal marketing.

Anyyyywayyyy for anyone just joining this thread tonight the 2022 bullion sovereign from Harrington & Byrne is still currently £319. 😆
Decided to just pick one up now, probably best price you will get one of these for at release / going forward . Glad I didn't miss this.

So apologies if this is a stupid question but if you ordered the Quartered Arms you will get the first of the two coins in this set and if you ordered the Quartered Arms and Portrait choice that would be both of the coins in the set what you are calling the continuity set? It just showed £260 by the continuity set if that is correct but that is actually just the price per coin right?
That’s correct. As far as I’m aware you will be charged for the second coin upon dispatch if you have the ‘Quartered arms and portrait’ showing in your orders.

How's everybody feeling after the day has passed now?
Honestly, I count myself lucky. Booted up the RM website at 8:59, got placed in the queue in the 500's and was able to get the 2oz Silver with the continuation for the March release also.
I'm just hoping there's no issues with quality as some people experianced with the 2022 Sovereign. I had a smooth experiance overall with that release (thankfully), had my set and full sov within 3 days.
So who knows when people will start receiving the first batches.

Recently just purchased my first safe in my late twenties, really sleek and modern. But honestly I quite want an old timey vintage safe now. Looks great!

I posted these pics earlier in the 'Today I received' thread, but thought I'd share here too to answer some questions.
For anyone who is concerned regarding their order:
I ordered the Full Sovereign and 3-Coin set.
Both ordered before 9am.
Payment has been taken in full now and order shows closedAlso worth noting that I had two seperate Royal Mail tracking numbers / emails and they arrived in seperate parcels (at the same time ofc).
All in all, I'm extremely happy with this release. I had a quick look at them up close with a loupe and couldn't see any major imperfections on the coins, just some scratches on the capsule and some dust / lint.

The limited edition prints came back in stock. Just decided to pick one up to go with my individual sovereign & 3-coin set, purely given the popularity of this release.
Looks like there's just one more left in stock if anyone here wanted one. -

So it is! I wonder how many silverforumites got one.
Managed to get one after seeing the email, thought they would sell quick with only 50 available so didn't hesitate. Plus £155 worth of value for £135 is pretty good (...but the sovereign proof would be a nice bonus also). Anyway I'm excited, hope we all get something good!

You don’t want it too soon….
The warehouse pickers will have spent Monday celebrating, and recreating the tries, from the rugby win over Figi. Sovereign boxes, especially the five coin sets, would have been spin passed into the packing area and Dai England tackled regularly as he carried various sets to the packing area. That’ll ensure the mints quoter of PR68s is met.
Tuesday’s about nursing hangovers in the Principality whilst doing as little as possible. Most boxes are thrown as it’s easier than walking with pounding heads. This gives us the PR69s as Dai England is being thrown regular hospital passes by the Taffs.
Wednesday’s a good day in Llantrisant, the lads will be on fine form - sober, rested and reflective. The warehouse will be an industrious place as they seek to make up for lost time and quietly discuss a possible team to face Australia in light of serious selection issues. Most people getting a delivery on Thursday or Friday will get a PR 70. But a couple of PR60s may creep in - that’ll be because Dai England won’t be able to resist mentioning that we’ve just beaten the Ozzies.
As somone from Wales and about 30 min drive from the mint, that made be chuckle! 😂

why? only a 40% uplift for a rare and very desirable set
Just that's 40% in one day and people don't even have the coins yet. I know it's desirable, but that is insanely good for a days work!

Really looking forward to being able to make my first buy of a new sovereign release on Monday (that's if I can even get one / navigate the RM's wesbite and payment system!)
Sorry if this has been stated already, but does anyone know the typical RRP from the Royal Mint for the individual proof sovereign?

I had the email too. I saw this pop up on youtube the other day, the Royal mint are doing a premiere for The Royal Tudor Beasts launch event on 6 October 2021 at 19:45 GMT

Welcome to the forum, good to have you on board!
@BackyardBullionThank you! Been watching your videos for a few months now and decided to hop on here after your video on the .50 cal 10oz Silver Bullet video. Have just gone ahead and bought one for myself in my first trade on here!

So I just received my 2oz Silver Gothic Crown, and wow, what a coin it is in person.
Can’t see any noticeable marks either which is great news (Also came in the correct box, which I saw some people had issues with on the GC thread).
