2014 6-Coin Silver Proof Britannia Set   Further to a French polishing commission, I have just been given this very generous gift as a "thank you bonus".    The desirable 2014 Britannia 6-coin set was limited to a mintage of merely 1735, this set being number 685 and in all-round superb condition.  

Yes, I've bought a couple times now and their customer service is second to none. Really pleased with it. Made a purchase this afternoon, got it nearly at the bottom, £22.75/1oz Brit. Completed the order, got a call within 15 mins to say that they had received the order and it was being packaged up for RM collection on Monday. 
Yes, big in Europe, getting into the UK market, hence the reduction in price to build a customer base and get reviews to boost buyer confidence. Presentation is on point. I posted the previous delivery from them on the Today I received channel.

The fly in that ointment is that it requires energy.  In a total collapse, firms go bust left right and centre, and energy supplies start collapsing fast fast.  No point generating it when no one can pay for it.
When there is finally an almighty collapse, the very last thing that the majority of people will be doing is worrying about their internet bill just so that they can access their digital bank account debt.  The cabal most likely will try to extend the ponzi scheme in that direction before the end though.  A new fiat to rule them all might add a few short years to the scam if they're lucky.  But slave incomes in the form of "universal basic income" will eventually have to be dished out.  I see that people on receipt of benefits are already getting subsidised energy bills now and that's the start of the end.  Eventually it'll become pointless to even go to work and at that point there's no society left for the elites to spend their ill gotten gains within.  In the past they escaped abroad to do that, but globalism has poisoned that well.
If you've been to Saudi you'll know that the main drag in Jeddah is filled with expensive car dealerships.  Lambo and Ferrari joints.  The elite need a functioning society within which to enjoy their riches and so they dish out enough to keep it functioning.  But the drift is always towards concentration of wealth, and if they don't learn to stop sucking up everything (they can't learn that), then they'll end up with nothing as well when the luxury yacht companies go bust.  Foreign trips to spend your ill gotten gains don't exist when you've captured the entire world.  It always runs up against the buffers when the vast majority have nothing left but debt.  Doesn't matter what the new currency becomes, unless ordinary free people have enough of it to use in fair exchange, it's unusable.
Digital will not be a way to hold wealth through disaster, and the elite know it.  No one is going to turn the computers back on, and expect people to remember what they owed them.  Not after a proper collapse.  That's gold's one and only real job, and unless they discover craters filled with it on the moon, I don't see it changing.  Digital is just a way to entrap the masses and squeeze the very last few drops of labour out of them before the collapse.  Humans are greedy and short sighted and this will happen again no matter how many regulations and restriction the managerial elites try to put in place.  I doubt silver will ever make a return to use as currency, but who really knows.  Both gold and silver have no master in the privacy of a private trade between two ordinary men.  And silver is certainly of a small enough value not to be difficult to barter with.  The elites holding gold may need to wait well into the restart before their gold becomes the premier ledger of wealth again.

@James32  we should petition Anne Jessopp for some new boxes for the SOTD Sovereigns.   We did get better packaging for the sovereigns after a few emails. 
Would be nice to get a box the same size as a proof sovereign, possibly the date and COA number engraved on a small metal plaque, like we get on the 10oz and 1kg coins.   
Those black boxes are nice but they are a surgical glove job......When I hear the snap of the rubber gloves at the doctors I know a black box is about to be handled.........

Bonus buy a lovely 1937 proof crown. 😀

As a new member it's sensible to keep your head down for a while until you assimilate the general tone of the established banter. It pays not to be too sensitive, there are a lot of quick "jokey" comments on here; some funny but many can come accross as short or sarcy. The forum medium lends itself to comments being misunderstood. I know, I have typed a few in my time😉

I'm sure everyone would be more understanding with your posts if we had known, but I can also understand why you wouldn't necessarily want to tell everyone about it.
I don't automatically assume everyone on the internet has had a TIA, so I feel it is a little unfair to try and make me or the other people you have wound up lately look bad by suggesting they haven't thought about what they are posting.

Received over the last few days- the Maurice Bull 7th Edition reference book will be helpful and the Michael Day book makes for a nice narrative and history of the English Silver Crown- these purchased at the York Coin Fair. 

Thanks @DuncanWylieWilson for the belated post of the Southern Rhodesia Crown, I actually received it several weeks ago and put it down ‘somewhere safe’ shortly after receiving it- found in the biscuit cupboard 🙄 
Also thank you @PapaLazarou for the Piedfort Prince Phillip Crown- he looks extremely distinguished in this portrait, and thanks to the Capt’n @CaptCaveMan for the Sovereign trade- and the Jubilee/ Anniversary Crowns from an antique shop and eBay.

Latest batch of coins back from grading (thanks once again Louise - Coins of the Realm).  Particularly pleased with the results on the Prince George 5th Birthday SOTD x 2.  A rare coin this one and nice to have two with a top grade.

Had a result today with the silver maples from an antique dealer at £20 each and the Queen Victoria silver medal from my local bullion dealer was a decent price as well. 

A tube of type 1 eagles to replace the tube I just sold 🤷‍♂️ and a 10oz una bar.
