ZeroHedge just reporting that the United States Dollar Tree store (1$ store) is now increasing products prices over $1, first time ever in its entire history. Also, Cotton futures soaring, clothing is going to hit.
Dont worry though, the Cartel told us that everything is transitory and that the Dollar stores in the United states will end up in a deflationary position post-printer ritual. But thats not enough, the Cartel is screaming on more fiat money printing.
Its undeniable we are over 10% minimum in every single resource. Yet, the keynesians in here are still committed in siding with the Cartel that it will all blow over, that everything will fine long term, "its transitory", the manipulated inflation target will return eventually. Farmers, shop owners, supply chains telling you different. No coerced, manipulated and artificial data or chart can tell me whats going on around me. Inflation is everywhere, soaring and roaring, even hyperinflating on certain resources. @sixgun and myself have been saying it for years... YEARS that inflation will cause shutdowns and collapses which in turn will give even more powers to the Bankers and Globalist entities.
I can tell you from my shopping experience yesterday that milk went up 20p, one of they ARLA lacto free semi skinned milk products. It went from £1.35 to £1.55, that is a 14.81% increase. My income can only DREAM of supporting such inflation.
I am honestly sick to the back teeth of the denial, not only on resources, but the prices of metals, people denying they arent manipulated because some gangster chart tells them so.
Yous (you know who you are) can believe in the Cartel all you want (its your right) but I wont. Im marked in with my metals, ready for anything and everything.
When the finance sector wakes finally up, all the hedge funds and finance institutions will rev up the metal prices, yous watch.

We will see @Kman - clearly all the prices at my supermarket will be going down and if not i will get you to tell them to put the prices down.
We look at the real world not dot plots.
Are prices all around us going up? That's what people like me and @Minimalist see.
Are we in stagflation? i lived through the 1970's - there was lots of stagflation.

Your judgement is wrong and insidious.
If members are under that perception, then they are mistaken and will be treated in a insouciant way. Im not here to compose to member(s) perceptions, opinions and desires. I post from a position of truth, curiosity and culture.
Since you really want an answer because you are under this illusion that you think the fiat philosophical commitment is worthy this is my final position: I preserve metal wealth and use it as a protective shield (insurance) against the World Order/Banking Cartel. Like, Russia and China, preserving metal holdings comes from the antonym of historical comprehension - both these entities will be correct along with myself. Ideas that come out of Eton College should be regarded as economic illiteracy and disingenuous intent. The functions of "keynesianism" is to propagate a social and political agenda, to put the 99% into disadvantage through counterfeiter fiat creation for the benefit of one-percenters. It is the 99% who owes the public debt and it is the one-percenters who own the corresponding financial assets - interest on the public debt works like a regressive tax as long as the debt is rolling over. Until you admit that fiat printing is nothing more than a redistribution program the better. I will NEVER... EVER... get on with the agenda pushing of demanding the economy is to produce other outcomes than what most of the people need, prefer and desire. The illusion that the Global Cartel deserves to be elevated over the average persons preferences, that their manipulation and central planning is considered and should be logically followed is an act of lunacy. Not only have you fallen for the establishment, its propaganda pieces, the entirety of the system, it echoes into day-to-day life to the population: "the economies booming" "there is no inflation" these incorrect dogmatic conditioned common beliefs are a reflection of total control. Myself, and others on this forum, can easily conclude that we are a modern fiat slave class - subjugated in every way to the Banking Cartel. Even the littlest of effort to point this out, from the CPI, paper/futures manipulation, the City, legal manoeuvring, quantitative easing and "extraterritorial jurisdiction" is almost always met with a resented or hostile reaction. The average person does not want to admit it because it requires independent thinking then action. Every single bit of it is interconnected, right through the economy and into social actions - the family is being destroyed, there is a lack of love, couples are incapable of loving in comparison to older generations this is simply radiating from most people I have experienced. The public health of this system has pineal glands damaged, oxytocin destroyed by seed oils and GMO, hearts covered by trauma, gut so irritated and inflamed they are unable to think, offended by anything and everything. But dont listen to me, HH. I am only on the right side of history.

The implication that even in the midst of a hyper inflation crisis event you could continue living exactly as you are now if only you have enough silver and gold is hilarious to me.
The main uses I can think of for silver and gold in that type of situation would be using it to relocate elsewhere and/or hanging on to it and using it at the other end of the crisis to start over. If you plan on sticking around through the crisis you better be thinking of more pressing needs than deluding yourself into thinking you'd be able to maintain your current standard of living.

Lyrinn got a reaction from stefffana in EU: Declare how much gold you have got
Guys, we're all missing the golden opportunity to be had here.
Step 1) Open a boating business that will safely transport previous metals.
Step 2) All UK forum members agree to take hold of the precious metals that our fellow EU forum members have in their stacks; transactions to be sent in the post. A small fee, of course.
Step 3) Declare that two, terrible accidents occured to all EU forum members. First, the metal was lost in the post by the Royal Mail (very likely). Second, there was a terrible boating accident (also very likely, it never stops raining in the British Isles and that's just summer); whatever metal wasn't lost in the post was lost in the boating accident. This also included the entire stack that the UK forum member had (we were just trying to be environmentally friendly and ship it all at once to make Greta Thunderbirds-are-go proud!).
Step 4) All EU forum members need to immediately tell their governments about what happened in Step 3. Something like: *Roll eyes* "Sacre bleu, those bloody Brits and their tea sipping ways; at it again, don't you know, Merkel!" All UK forum members need to tell HMRC that the EU is to blame for sending over so much precious metal that it caused the terrible boating accident by capsizing the boats. *Roll eyes* "Sacre bleu, those bloody European mainlanders and their coffee-sipping ways; at it again, don't you know, Boris!"

I only got into precious metals because Chris Silver hired me as a private investigator to try and solve the forum's greatest mystery; no, nothing unimportant like the meaning of life.
I am trying to establish, for the history books, if the legendary "I am the captain of this boat!" @sixgun and "wor lad, divvin' howk ya sneck!" @HawkHybrid are actually the same person.
My investigations are leading me down into the depths of a rabbit hole, filled with twisted warrens and a labyrinth

of endless pathways that change direction with every step I take. If only there was some sort of crayon-eating, flourscent-light-rainbow-farting, ex-marine with a face (as I believe he once eloquently described it) "like John Prescott arse" to be my guide.
Alas; the mystery continues and the precious metal pile (which definately keeps being lost in a series of unfortunate boating accidents) only gets bigger.
