NEW St. George and the Dragon coin with Garter inscription

Let’s narrow this down, who owns one that’s good?
They won’t replace them all the way they are going.

Not trying to defend RM but even the "Hero" ones on there website are not perfect.

St George's ribcage has a unexpected wound

The letter "O" on the edge

The question is would you return the coin if the above was present on yours?

Other flaws might have been cleaned up before it goes up on their website but who knows?

How many of the originals? …. Well, there always seems quite a few for sale, trouble being that as they were obviously in circulation a long time trying to find a decent one is difficult 🤔🤔

That looks really nice- as it should be. When made right, that design is stunning❤️

You mean my cabinet? 😀

It use to belong to Baldwin the dealer.

The 2oz coin but the cabinet looks really nice. Is that made from mahogany?

It truly is pot luck if you receive a good one. I'm sweating from just thinking about it lol

Its a Swann from the 70s, thick trays.

I got many bad coins from the RM. Only about 1 in 10 are good.

Got my dispatch note.
it should be an exciting time but more apprehension on how many teeth marks and grit of sandpaper they’ve used.

They purposely post non perfect images. I’m 100% sure of this. Makes the princess of wales look like a master photographer otherwise. It’s purposeful 119.5%

Aaaahhh😉

Sending one back from Australia entails a high bar. I’m nervous.

Brutal that the best we have to look forward to is opening a coin which maybe, just maybe scrape a PF68-69

My 5 and 2 are being dispatched, and my other 2 oz has been returned, my luck I will get the returned 2oz back with the 5 oz🤪🤪

I would be so mad if the one they replaced for you is the exact same one you sent back! What are the chances! Surely it could happen with RM’s shoddy quality control and procedures! At this point it’s clear they don’t give a damn and QC department is not a cause of concern to reevaluate for them.

Very sad times.

Can see it happening opening one returned box and putting it into a post out box, To me to you.

QC is really bad, the only Proofs I have bought have been the Great Engravers, and every coin has had issues.
