London Coin fair beer/coffee meet up Sat 11 June

Recommended Posts

I'm thinking of heading down to the London Coin Fair in June. Would be good to meet up with members on the forum for a beer or coffee if people are up for it. Nice to put a face to some like-minded members. Perhaps trade a few coins as well. Looks like @1stsovereign and @SVcollector have stands there.

Anyone interested?

Planning to meet at 3pm in the bar area of the hotel. Those who want to stay on can make their way to the nearest pub afterwards.....

It's called 'Junction Bar' in the Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, Ground Floor.

Yes we''ll meet at the hotel bar/cafe. Will post a time nearer the event as a reminder for everyone.

I’m going to take some circulation 2012 Olympic 50ps and try and sell them to the dealers🤣🤣🤣🤣

What about graded modern pennies?

Not there, to say it's pricey... The Lord Russel or the Mableton (you can even book a table) just down the road, better and cheaper and take cash.

Tempted to pop by for a pint, why not, life is short and beer is getting dearer by the day.

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. - H.L. Mencken

We can place bets on "How many dealers can @Darr3nGquiz over tube contents before he gets thumped".
