So where to from here.....my gut instinct is 1500 by Christmas (appreciate gold futures don’t indicate this).  Driven by more QE, QE spent on corporate bonds and a risk off approach to investing in the wider market.  I only every make money by looking at the macro and long term, and think it looks good for gold.

I’ve been thinking £1,800 for some time (by Christmas).

I'm truly shocked! Gold and Silver doing great impressions of rockets! Looks like Kiyosaki and Maloneys predictions are coming good...

But, what's happened to drive these record highs???

QE is going to big a factor and the COMEX buys of physical. COVID19 isnt helping its bedlam in the US. Trade wars and heated tensions between china vs USA including COVID accusations. China is continually putting preassure on Taiwan also, which the west dont like, its a strategic place for western allies like Japan and AUS. Eric sprott bought 70 million ozs of silver yesterday. This morning when i checked the asian markets were going beserk for both PM's its calmed down since then. I mean we are also seing shrinking GDPs of many countries also including massive debt bubbles everywhere. When people see these bubbles getting bigger they panic and the demand for PMS increase also. just for my 2ps worth.

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

imagine the fun in years ahead if moves like this begin to be common occurrences with more gloom and doom porn news coming out

for daftness sake if gold is at £100,000oz but society is like Mad Max - not going to be much to spend it on if everywhere is shut down !

Lol I could buy a decent two bedroomed house at this moment in time in my area with my current holdings & yes hold your nerve I believe this has a while to run yet. Gold will IMHO exceed $2000 USD before this years out & who knows where silver will be I wasn't expecting silver to Break $21 USD so quickly.

If you are holding out to buy a property dont forget to factor in the stamp duty holiday period.  May mitigate some of you PM gains if you miss the window.

The sharp rise past couple days seems to be due to the falling dollar

Or maybe it's due to the bigger picture why the dollar is dropping

No pal I'm not holding out to buy a property I already have one, just saying to kookaburracollector I could buy one. But thanks for the info I'm letting my PM shares run HOC has gone insane, I may unload a few if/when it hits £3.00

The problem with common sense is, its not that common.

I think it's because of Judy Shelton's nomination for the federal reserve and her idea of a gold standard economy .

Hi...When you said you had enough Invested in PM’s  to buy a two bedroomed house I forgot to ask where you live...I hope it’s Mayfair!

I have about the same, but unfortunately a two bed house where I live is not that expensive👍
