Debt has made the headlines on SKY News. £1,410 oz.

I’m glad I decided to randomly buy another 1oz in gold on Wednesday when the prices were low. Ever since then, it’s just gone up because of the announcement of the UK debt.

Central bankers are politicians disguised as economists or bankers. They’re either incompetent or liars. So, either way, you’re never going to get a valid answer.” - Peter Schiff

Sound money is not a guarantee of a free society, but a free society is impossible without sound money. We are currently a society enslaved by debt.

My guess is yes it will break 1450 - why?

The EU Meets in mid-July where there will by a bun fight around the bailout that will be in the region of EUR750B to EUR1T.   They won’t be arguing over the size of the bailout / printing, just who has to pay it back....

Yet more printed money, and my guess is that won’t be the end of it for the EU.

with Boris throwing money around like confetti , along with the uncertainty over the Brexit talks
I can see the pound trading around $1.19 to 1.22, instead of the 1.22 to 1.28 range that it has been stuck in
which should certainly be a positive for Gold in sterling terms

Gold is jumping back up again. Was that massive dip because Mr Dead sold all that gold. 😂😂

As a newbie I really don't get the gold market 1 bit. Was that massive dip from loads of gold being sold off? if so how kg''s of gold would that have taken

Cheers for anyone's thoughts on this

Somebody said on this forum that vaccine talk yesterday pushed people away from the "safe haven" of gold and into other investments.

In my very humble opinion the day to day swings in markets are hard to fathom.

If you are in the market, you do have a better idea (who is dumping gold, delivery issues, futures etc)

For the average investor, a long term view is best...
