My 2oz silver proof 3G is in transit from NGC and has achieved a PF 70

Wow if these sell the price is sort of set 

Just revisiting this topic.  With help fro @Groundz I purchased this at the time.  
 
I have four higher grades Douro Sovereigns, but non with quite the eye appeal as this one.

Have you flipped the coin over and looked at the obverse? The Royal Mint has the image of the Queen but the Alderney obverse has the image of... oh wait, I actually don't know who that woman is 🤔

I'm very surprised they would even mention grades as no one knows what a coin will grade its only a prediction and then theres the transit of the coin. If they remint expect to wait a while for another, I have given up waiting for remints on other coins and have also had worst ones returned.

I think the more people that start saying they want their coins to hit certain grades to RM the more chance they will look to move into selling graded at much higher prices. I have noticed a lot of people seem to be so much worried about really tiny imperfections these days and a lot that I've seen on groups are mostly dust. I'm fussy but a lot I see I would send to grading that people are considering returning.

I'm predicting we see a higher % of 70s this time around compared to the Unas as they have been taking on board feedback and the recent 5oz Eltons show how they have improved since the Queens as one example

Ah ha! The (in)famous Three Grazes coin....

For this type of coin, NCS is a must IMHO. you could be talking the difference between a 69 and 70 grade, which could be talking thousands in a 70 uplift value.

I consider myself extremely fortunate to have coins that are about as perfect as I think they can be.
 

The box for mine had a RM quality control sticker on do I’m expecting a PF65 now

On that note, has anyone identified the cut off date for First Releases for the 3G? I can’t find it.

Seen my GF now for the first time this week, 6 graces! I feel very lucky after the ups and downs of last week.
And amazingly I got the offer of the TSF grading so one will go to @CoinsOfTheRealmAuctions and one I'm going to have a go myself so a good learning experience. I am hoping someone does a guide! 

Why does it need the extra thick holder? What is the thickness of this coin? Thanks

If anyone cares to listen, here's what worked for me..
Logged on to RM around 6:45. Stayed logged in flicking between web pages every five minutes (it will kick you for idling if you just leave yourself logged in)
I'm not sure if that helped but around 8:45ish the screen automatically changed to Queue-it "we're releasing a new product" page. From there, i left it without hitting refresh once. somewhere around 8:58 maybe, screen automatically changed to a queue number with progress bar. I joined at somewhere around the 1150 number.
When I got on to the proper site, I was already logged out, so not sure if the pre-queueing from 6:45 helped or not.  All coins were still listed as available, although I doubt they actually were available. Golds were out my price range. Both silvers were in my sights but the 5oz 555 mintage just didn't feel right. Didn't believe in my chances. Played safe, straight for the 2 oz silver. I had one payment error, success on 2nd attempt.
When i went back to the main page, all coins were gone except the 2oz silver. I do wonder if I'd have succeeded with the 5oz but I'm not bothered at all. This was my first ever purchase with RM, just happy to be one of the lucky ones and got a coin. Feel for those that didn't but there's more to come, we can all go again on the next release.

I do regret that post. As if there hasn’t been enough stress already this week. I am sorry 😞
