(I now have a set of 9 silver 1977 25p crown proofs at PF69). I know they are not "big value" coins and not hugely rare but, collect what you love and coins from 1977 are my "thing" so very happy :)

Loving the 2019 Matte, waiting for one coming back from grading...Hopefully a 70 also to go with Vic!

A BIG shout out to a fellow forum member @1817Karl for itching my need for British AG :)

Smooth transaction from start to finish, But definitely a very expensive purchase had to upgrade my SD box OHH & remortgage the house 😂

    Thank You

They do look nice lined up together like little soldiers... and such beautiful toning! The remaining 4 are feeling a little bit lonely, but have found a new friend, my 7 year old daughter who "quite likes them, but would prefer it if they were gold"...  Doesn't bode well for the future...

It's a good grade but not exceptional as you point out. I just have a liking for 1959 sovs and sent 2 of them for grading as they went along with the moderns. They both got MS64 and I pulled one out to show you.

I have sent a few similar dates for grading recently, 57,58 & 59 (chose the better coins!) and the graded similar 64, 65 & 64. Generally the better examples grade at this level and it is a challenge to get them to grade higher, I have seen a few 66's.
