Look also at 2012 and 2005... You should be able to find these in bullion form along with 2002 at small premiums above best value sovereigns... but if they're not your thing leave them be.
The 1989 is proof only and has a hefty premium Vs bullion
If you're interested in 1887 and earlier shields you'll pay a little more for good examples. Once you get a shield I think you'll be hooked

Available for purchase is a 1883 US Gold Double Eagle which looks as though it has seen some light polishing at some point, although fields are not reflective as you would expect of a polished coin - this looks great in hand
The Double Eagles are large chunks of Gold, weighing 33.43g
    Available for spot +3% plus post (Currently £1591 + £7.50 post = £1598.50 delivered)

    Hi,
I've never bought a RM coin in a blister so don't know too much about them TBH.
Did find these though, any good?

They only ask whats in the package as they have a list of items you aren't allowed to send. I just inform them the package doesn't contain anything from their list and its value

This is one I did, and I don’t promise miracles, this had a number of copper spots loads of finger marks. I removed the copper spots, and realistically got as good a grade as the coin was ever going to get.

The 2022 Piedfort was sold on here as a coin with potential issues……… @Darr3nG will be happy, I can’t remember who he bought it off.

Bad taste maybe as the old bat hasn't drawn her last yet, but assuming she does, then I am thinking we'll have the much adored Charlie on Sovs next year potentially. Assuming RM gets it's self in gear.
So is throwing all spare cash at 2022 Sovs a sound idea?

Thanks everyone. An amazing gesture by @Squalleonhart. I’m a newbie stacker and this forum has been amazing since I joined. Great bunch of people, loads of knowledge and most importantly, some great banter. My goal when staring was to build a stack of silver at under £25 an ounce. I’ve learned so much now and will be moving onto the yellow stuff next. The addition of a free Brit is amazing. To continue the acts of kindness, I will be donating £25 to help for heroes. I left the military recently after a long career so only seems right to put something back. Thanks all. Keep up the great work. Love this place!!!

I have been blown away by the communities kindness and generosity of late on atleast 4 different occasions all of which unprompted.
I have decided to pay it forward in a similar style to something i had done a few months back in the form of a give away. Anyone can enter wont cost you anything and no particular knowledge of coins needed just good old fashion luck.
I have been saving loose change in 50p,£1 and £2s for a few month now to put towards a dated sovereign for a run.
Il attach pictures of daughters piggy bank in question, closest guess to amount wins and no multiple guesses of the same number if i dont clock 2 of the same numbers claimed il take the 1st person who called it.
Prize is a free 1oz silver britannia i cover 1st class recorded.
I did recorded a time lapse of the coins being counted but phone slipped and caught none of it and im not counting them out again haha.

Draw ends friday so enough folk have time to enter say 9pm
