I have to say that I'm delighted with it, and agree with you on the look/style of the coin. I've only recently started collecting bullion kooks, but am already "addicted" to the series.

Despite a couple of micro-scratches on the Queen's cheek, for £16 I feel that I've done OK for the money

Whist not quite of the same magnitude of some of the above acquisitions, I am nonetheless very pleased to have just picked up a BU 2009 Kookaburra for just £16.00, plus very reasonable postage costs

I've just rung H&B to see if they would be prepared to do the £229 deal for existing clients, and was told that their best price at the moment is £239 - but was also advised to "keep a close eye on our website"

Just had a look, but the cheapest deal on a 2019 sovereign that I can see on their website is £249 at the moment.

Will keep an eye on this company though - you never know what deals they might come up with over the next few months

Can anyone help me out with the name of the company that was recently offering 2019 sovereigns at £226 + P&P (coming to £230 in total, as I recall), please?

Whoever they are, their offer was around a few weeks back, at the same time as the H&B £229 offer, and I'm interested to see if it is still available.....

I picked up a couple of the last Summer, to add to my "spread/double eagle silver coin theme" collection that I've got going.

It's worth having a look at some of the Italian Mussolini-era silver coins from the late 1920's that sit well alongside these German ones.

It looks as though the Harrington & Byrne offer for 2019 Sovereigns at £229 is now finished, but they are still offering quarter ounce gold QB Falcons at £279:

After all, at £229 inc. free delivery you just really can't go wrong!

And my 2019 Sovereign from Harrington & Byrne arrived today....

I'm so pleased with the quality of the coin and the service offered by H&B, that I rang them up to say "Thank you" and ordered another one at £229 (inc. delivery)

I'm liking this coin more and more...….
