So, with all the damaged sovereigns and the potential for more ****ery down the road there was an idea mooted on that thread by @GoldDiggerDave where we pool our resources and swap coins to get perfect sets rather than loads of us returning sets.
 If anyone is sending there set back to the mint could they consider swapping good coins with fellow members here?
 
 @BackyardBullion made an offer on the other thread looking for a quintuple with a very generous bonus for anybody who can help
 I am looking for a double, my offer would be that I pay all postage costs and I will chuck in 50 quid for your trouble.

I think more speculators have joined the market recently and there has been more awareness of profits realised on editions like the great engravers. I suspect there are a lot of people currently jumping on anything limited edition the mint release because of this, combine it with the jubilee and you have a scramble.

I think the £5 gold will be future classic, mintage of just 100 - plain edge -  iconic year

Not bad can't complain.  There's still plenty of room for the Gothic to take off.  I'd let mine go of 17k and would not be upset one bit.  I don't think we will see the real prices until there are PR70UC pairs up for sale.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve had issues too.
This is the reason why I’ve decided not to return mine and instead I’m going to grade it in the New Year with conservation.
I just don’t trust that I’ll get a replacement even though I’ve been promised one.

 I called the mint today to see how long it would be for my replacement to arrive and was told that it has been refunded and the money was in my mint account! Now I filled in the return form saying I wanted a replacement, when I spoke to them a few weeks ago I again confirmed I wanted a replacement, I even got the email to say my replacement was delayed...what the hell is going on at the Mint?
 Between this and my experience with the phantom gold gothic crown I'm totally pissed off with them. Customer services are lovely people on the phone but it does seem that they are actually pretty useless at their job.
 So yeah, now I have to wait and see if they **** up sending money to my bank account 🙄 
 At the end of the day I no longer really wanted the coins so **** it but if you are promised a replacement just remember that promise means absolutely nothing.

I feel for those who bought these and can't afford to hold as I can see no way these do not make good money when complete.
 Still, if I can be a good samaratin and help people out by buying at cost I certainly will. What's more if anybody has any una and the lion or 3 graces and need to free up cash I will not just pay cost I am prepared to offer you up to 10% more if it is graded pf70...I'll even cover postage! 😉
