The thead is interesting, and along with her other post, even more interesting, as are the responses to that.

I was disappointed to note that Petra had ignored my advice "as much information as you have...", but not overly surprised. Most new posters, and quite a few experienced ones, do similar, followed by the full story dribbling out over a few hours, days, or even weeks, which probably frustrates and annoys the friendly helpful TSF members trying to help.
It appears that Petra got both coins for nothing, which is very close to their actual value.
The story of their acquisition would still be interesting!

I should probably not relay the contents of "Private Messages", and normally don't, but in this case I think it is excusable, and I also wonder how may other members Petra had PD'd.

Today I received a lovely 2022 SotD Sovereign courtesy of Chards.
It was my first purchase from them and it was packaged amazingly and the coin itself is perfect!

Finally got my replacement Gothic Portrait after about a month, looks much better than the first and also a few of the new James Bond bars.

ah got to love it. Made it by the Royal mint quality issues just for NGC to do it. When you pay for first release label to and get it sent off quick for NGC to put the brown label on it. 😭

Well, we cant all have 70's - so my portrait goes back to not be replaced cos its such bad quality and the gold arms gets a 69, not had the best success with this series. Shame as my graces did really well. All gonna get sold now, had enough with this series.

50/50 so far on the silvers - more with NGC atm.

I wouldn’t draw down unless you have a strong proposition mate. I was considering drawing from my mortgage to get a wind turbine. Reckon it would pay for itself in around  8 years, especially if fuel prices keep going up. I’m really on the fence, especially as noticed the early repayment charge on the new mortgage offer sits at 5% for the 5 year term. Always check the details. 

Just spent 20 minutes opening ALL of the boxes, what a pain!
I didn't receive them all today, but the 10oz portrait yesterday, and the 5oz portrait a few days back.
The set finally complete.
Now to put them all back in the boxes....
