Silver is a giant market compared to a stock. 
It is manipulated to a degree, yes. 
It cannot be manipulated by a group of individuals. 
They will not take it to the moon, I can all but guarantee that. 
Dealers are businesses, they are not obliged to buy or sell at any price at any time. They work by buying at a certain price and selling it very quickly afterwards. 
Dealers have and will increase premiums on their silver to compensate for small movements in markets. Buying from Joe Public at spot and then charging 20% over spot for sales.

well, considering that Gold has been deliberately sold at record lows between Central Banks throughout the years as a means to keep the price down/manipulated I would say Gold is the primary asset of manipulation and influence. Silver is just weird in my opinion, it never brings me confidence, although it has massive short positions its too easy to manipulate and control due to its smaller market. Thats why I never throw a lot of fiat into the Gentlemans metal. Its the King metal for me.

From a stock point of view its punched below the $1850 resistance, which can cause all sorts of problems, especially in the paper price. 
I have been looking though all the charts and it always seems to do that (most years anyway) around now. Fabulous buying opportunity considering. 
I dont know who said you cant time a market, but its actually quite predictable when it comes to metals.

To think gold will drop 50% you would have to be incredibly optimistic that the global economy is going to bounce back
I could see gold maybe coming down 10-15% in the short term as stimulus and vaccines hopes continue
But for all the problems under the surface in the economy and monetary system it seems far more like gold will be 50%+ higher in two years
