Yes. But here are the two last seen living examples of the famous Winnipeg Tiger. Some people really loves them. I don't know, why the RCM doesn't makes a commemorative coin.

Yup, ordered a couple of these when they were released and very happy with the design/quality considering it's a low premium coin. Looking forward to that October release then!

Thank you, @BackyardBullion! We have to give credit to the Bulmint team as well. They have been a great partner in designing and manufacturing the coin.

We have already been approved to continue minting the 1kg Goddess Europa Coin Bar and the 1oz coin in 2022 with no change in the design (perhaps we can touch that forehead). These will be exclusively sold on EuropaBullion’s website in the EU, USA and Canada markets and by @GreatBritishBullion in the UK. As you mentioned, they are very low mintage so  there is no point to distribute them to other dealers.
However, Goddess Europa Series were just the warm up. We have a new coin approved that will be released in the beginning of October with a mintage of 500,000 and will be sold to dealers worldwide. I would say it looks even better than the 1oz GE and it’s not connected to the brand. The wholesale premiums of the coin will be lower than those of all government mints so this coin could have a major impact. Stay tuned!
Once again thank you for the great (and) honest feedback!

If you buy from outside the UK you will have to pay delivery, VAT at 20% and then the admin charge imposed by the courier company. Unless you are getting them for rock bottom prices abroad when they arrive in the UK your total cost will be comparable to buying in the UK. The days of importing silver with zero VAT from Europe are over due to Brexit.
Also as Dicker says with such small margins it is a volume business on the generic bullion coins you would need hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of oz's going out the door every week to "make a wage"
    Here is an example:
    The 2021 Silver Britannia:

Looking at a german dealer the price is £22.22 an oz lets say we are buying a full tube of 25 coins.
    Shipping: £11
    Coins: £555.50
    Royal Mail admin charge:£8
    VAT 20%:£111.10
Total £685.60 or £27.42 an oz

Now lets look at the UK:
Sharps Pixley have the 2021 Silver Britannia at £26.53 for singles or £25.16 when buying 25
Now lets assume you buy a tube for comparrison:

    Shipping:Free
    Coins: £629
Total £629 or £25.16 an oz
So as you can see you would be paying £2.26 more per oz to import from abroad than to buy in the UK
Also you can always look in the buy/sell section of the forum that is where the best deals can be found

Welcome to the forum! To chime in with Jvw, you may start stacking and later find yourself become both stacker and collector. There's a wealth of information on the forum that may help you and if you have specific questions, you can always post a topic to ask for help or advice.
Silver membership is a great addition as you'll have immediate visibility of any trade topics (non-premium members have a 72h delay). Good deals here don't last very long so a membership may prove to be beneficial.
In terms of advice - two things to keep in mind when buying PM's

    1) Make sure you have an exit strategy. Stacking form long term pension is an exit strategy, but can you exit if you had to in unforeseen circumstances?
    2) If a deal you see, be it here, ebay, any dealer, etc, seems to good to be true, it probably is. Don't hesitate to ask for the opinion of others if you are not sure about a potential purchase of the validity of an item - the people here are very helpful and knowledgeable.
    Enjoy the journey!

Alex944 reacted to Lyrinn in EU: Declare how much gold you have got
Guys, we're all missing the golden opportunity to be had here.
Step 1) Open a boating business that will safely transport previous metals.
Step 2) All UK forum members agree to take hold of the precious metals that our fellow EU forum members have in their stacks; transactions to be sent in the post. A small fee, of course.
Step 3) Declare that two, terrible accidents occured to all EU forum members. First, the metal was lost in the post by the Royal Mail (very likely). Second, there was a terrible boating accident (also very likely, it never stops raining in the British Isles and that's just summer); whatever metal wasn't lost in the post was lost in the boating accident. This also included the entire stack that the UK forum member had (we were just trying to be environmentally friendly and ship it all at once to make Greta Thunderbirds-are-go proud!).
Step 4) All EU forum members need to immediately tell their governments about what happened in Step 3. Something like: *Roll eyes* "Sacre bleu, those bloody Brits and their tea sipping ways; at it again, don't you know, Merkel!" All UK forum members need to tell HMRC that the EU is to blame for sending over so much precious metal that it caused the terrible boating accident by capsizing the boats. *Roll eyes* "Sacre bleu, those bloody European mainlanders and their coffee-sipping ways; at it again, don't you know, Boris!"

Hello and welcome to the forum. A lot of the time the best deals can be found in the buy & sell section here on the forum. A silver premium membership (or higher) is well recommended as the best deals do go in literally minutes.

Doesn't look as if they put much effort into this one - seems to be the same design as the 2021 silver sixpence.
Earlier this year I gave my nephew and his wife a brand new 2021 sovereign (which cost me £315 plus a box) as a wedding present, and I still think this was better value than the new coin.

Many new members are asking the same question, is my sovereign real or fake?
It is a question that is asked often here  and I thought it’s time it deserved a new ‘thread’.
I don’t have a ‘fake’ sovereign to share but as many on the forum see there are many, thankfully, genuine sovereigns but there are also many ‘fakes’ out there.
I wish there weren’t but it happens with anything of any real value.
It’s sadly something we have to live with but if we can find and educate the newer members about the fakes, as a community, we should and I have no doubt that we will.
We only want to see genuine sovereigns here but we’ll happily tell you if it’s a fake.

Seller has great reputation, though I agree it looks a tad odd. The off-centered 10 yuan doesn't bother me as much as it seems that the coin is not placed ''correctly'' and therefore it appears to be slightly off. What caught my eye is the ''3'' in ''30g'' on the coin. It doesn't look as clean as it should. Additionally, in genuine examples, there's a very small gap between the 3 and the leaves of the tree, whereas on the listing it looks like its muddled into the leaf:

Admittedly, it may just be the quality of the picture. if in doubt, I'd ask for better quality picture and definitely a picture of the reverse. Too close to call just based on that one picture and if that's the case, probably best to sit this one out.
