He has 77.6 Troy ounces of silver at an average of £33.4 an ounce.

Are you a bigger loser than Roy?

£27.70 an ounce (approx). All Brits apart from a couple of Germania mint Valkyries which cost £40 each and push the average up a tiny bit.

It's comforting to know that there are at least a couple of guys out there who made an even worse blunder than I did.. 🤣

Did you fall for the Hunt brothers trick?

Sold too early 😔

Engelhards and Pamp 10ozs for £155, kilos for £425... 😭

I hope someone, at least, learns by my mistakes!

To be fair, the post is a bit disingenuous 😇

Clickbait, if you will.

Like many, I started off with silver and gold soon turned my head. I sold the best of my silver at, perhaps, a small profit and ploughed the money straight into gold, which has performed well, thank God.

But had I kept the silver, that would also have performed well, and I would have had some nice pieces to look at.

What is left is the silver I paid too much for and couldn't possibly recoup at this stage. Patience is required. 🥱

Apologies to the silver stacking fraternity, I am one of you, and I am still the biggest loser!

🥳

I have a QB Completer @ £135 an ounce.

The badge is mine.

i have bought a few proper pirate coins which will have been pricey per ounce but i don't count them in ounces.
i never stress about my coins and bars. i have never sold any, i have no idea what my average price is and i stopped counting how much i have several years ago.

No point really when it was all lost in a tragic boating accident.

Always cast your vote - Spoil your ballot slip. Put 'Spoilt Ballot - I do not consent.' These votes are counted. If you do not do this you are consenting to the tyranny. None of them are fit for purpose.
A tyranny relies on propaganda and force. Once the propaganda fails all that's left is force.
