Rather than celebrating the sudden rapid rise in gold price maybe we should be more concerned about these sudden moves over the past month? After all gold is the barometer of global chaos.

Even WW3 preppers are talking about the price of gold at the moment. The first 10 minutes of Canadian Preppers daily news update was dedicated to talking about gold today.

I only rolled up in July 2022 and since then the best price I got on a sov was some Jubilees at £358. What are they now? £410? In 2022 we were in the middle of crazy rate hikes (bearish for gold). So can you imagine the price of gold when the rates start to come down? £500, £600 for a sov? It sounds crazy, but it's not!

These rate hikes have suppressed the true price of gold for years. Covid, the wars, financial collapse banks in China and USA, gold should be higher. We're now seeing the delayed effects of multiple world crisis.

There's always the haunt of "the correction" after a bull run teasing us though.

But I agree - rates haven't even started to come down. It's gotta be up up up! And if we have a correction along the way it's a great opportunity to stock up

Glad we have a long weekend with the market closed, too much price excitement makes it difficult to switch off from work 😂

With the clocks going forward we should get back to the normal 22:00 - 23:00 close each evening in the UK, so the market should reopen Monday at 23:00 I believe. It'll be absolutely fasinating to see what happens after that last-minute gasp up at close yesterday.

Oh my god. Why am I only just learning this? No wonder I can never remember if it's 10pm or 11pm when markets close. That's because, it changes every 6 months!!!!!
