A while ago, I planned to sell some of my gold ETF holdings if the spot price was above £1750.  Then some more if it reached £1825 and more again at £1900.

Today I executed the first part of the plan!

First time I have ever sold any gold, physical or virtual.  Reinvested about 60% of the money in shares, left the rest in cash.

I am pleased, but feel a little conflicted.  I'm still going to buy some more physical this year.

I've only been out a few hours and ten pages have gone by. Anyone care to give me a synopsis to save me trawling back through?
