So have you held the coin in your hand yet? It's a great feeling to hold a coin with that weight. It feels solid and to me definitely infers the power or wealth held within it's dimensions.

Yes, 8 it's a number/sign of fortune in chinese culture. 888 is a kind of "Best wishes for good fortune!" .

I am also new to precious metals. My first gold coin was 1/10 krugerrand, then 1/4 and half sov, and then I get my dream coin - 1oz QB Completer 😍 (my favorite, prettiest super coin !), and then I saw and felt that 1oz did the job with its size and weight 😎 and then I get 1oz Britannia 2013 (at first I thought it was too big 😱 maybe fake 😱😂 but I checked the internet and found out that the one from 2013 is bigger but thinner), which is larger in size than 1oz QB Completer

its a really nice feeling to hold such a big and heavy coin in your hands, and now every other 1/10, 1/4 or half sov or full sov, compared to these 1oz coins they look like buttons 😂

A tube of 1/4oz Brits for me today, ordered from RM Thursday evening so pretty quick for them
These are the QEII ones and the tube of 20 from RM was actually cheaper than the tube of 19 KCIII's from Atkinsons

Not to everyone's taste because of the premium but at £172 they were the cheapest I had seen them for a while

Max sells on some of the Facebook groups and Britannia Coins have a group on there as well.

He posts some absolute crackers, I bought an 1848 Shield Sovereign from him yesterday which hopefully I will be posting up here Tuesday when it lands
