I've decided that whenever I'm making a major gold purchase Im gonna grab a couple of smaller items at the same time which won't be a short time financial miss but should add up quick over the years. Question is, what's the better option, 1g or sometimes 2g gold bars or 2oz or sometimes 4oz of silver coins?

So let's say you bought a Brit and a Beast today, same spot but paid an extra £40 premium for the beast. In 5-10 years are they worth the same or is the beast still worth a little/lot more?

Another question for you guys if you don't mind? Is there any benefit to buying 1oz coins like the beast coins over a standard Brit? Will they be worth more down the line or is the additional premium just purely cosmetic to enjoy now?
