An interesting vintage bar. Cascade Refining. Just got it off the forum. They didn't make many of these odd weight bars.
The serial number on the bar is the date when it was cast so in this case the 14th April 1989.

I had considered getting some of the America the Beautiful series. Then @arshimo2012 came up trumps with a few.

This mark is Sn 95% - the Sn is the chemical symbol for tin - it is a mark seen on pewter pieces. Here is a better example 
Etain at the bottom of the marks is ÉTAIN - this is French for tin.
GT are the initials of Giorgio Tabellini, founder of La Bottega del Peltro in 1970 - so it is a  La Bottega del Peltro piece - this is Italian for The Pewter Shop,
 - this is another pewter 'hallmark'
Not sure what the last mark is but i presume is just another 'decorative' hallmark.

i really don't know why they don't get gold made into stuff. Have the gold made into tube for luggage frames. Spray painted and part of the luggage. Have the gold made into golf club heads. As long as the weight is not stupidly out of line with the weight you would expect for the piece how would it ever be detected?
When you have arrived wherever, it gets sold. Gold in India would likely go to make jewellery so would get melted down anyway. A load of metal bars are going to show up immediately - they will sniff them out and wet themselves when they see the gold. It will be confiscated as sure as eggs - they will make any s*** up to get their hands on it. 
Notice how they let the woman carry on with her journey. They aren't really bothered with the woman, not bothered about the 'crime' if there is one. They just want to steal the gold. Reminds me of Venezuelan gold in the BoE. Stolen.

Personally i think none of the data can be trusted to be accurate - but it is an interesting topic to discuss and think about. i suspect the amount of gold held by us UK stackers is tiny.

The gold holdings of private households in the Czech Republic are twice as high as the gold reserves of the Czech National Bank, suggests a new survey conducted by gold investor Zlato.cz.

According to official data, private individuals in the Czech Republic currently own 19.35 tons of gold. This is double the amount of gold stored in the Czech National Bank vaults, which stood at 10.6 tons at the end of 2021.
