Recent acquisition I’ve recently gone on a vintage bender & I just can’t seem to stop, Some one please call Frank 😓
Mouth watering patina, Looks like a freshly painted master piece 🤩🤩🤩
Tola - It was the base unit of mass in the British Indian system of weights and measures introduced in 1833, although it had been in use for much longer.
I believe this specimen was produced during the 1960’s

I fear that, in a year where all talk has been on a bug known as Covid-19, I accidently picked up another one.
The silver bug; collector's edition.
I'll be honest, I really liked this design for Euryale, but I'm not a fan of the other rounds in the series.

Ladies and gentlemen. Please be upstanding.
Her Majesty Queen Victoria has arrived, in all her PCGS plastic casing glory. 😆
She might not be amused but I am.
The 1889 Melbourne first obverse variety rated R3 by Marsh.

After my Rocking Horse Crown and Peace Dollar a couple of days ago I have returned to my normal MO with some more shiny.
A spot on 1986 ASE which was a gift, the Perth Next Gen. 2oz Platypus, 2 more Phils for the tube and I am now the last person in the civilised world to get an Una bar.
I love this Next Generation series, really underrated I think, great design and great quality as you'd expect from PM.
And only 4 short of a full tube of Phils now... this will be my first (of hopefully a few) full tubes.

Quite rare, Newfoundland / Maritime Provinces 1880 Gold $2. mintage (reported) of only 2,500.
Again, not part of a set collection I'm building, I just liked the coin and the portrait. If anyone is a collector of Canadian coins id appreciate any further info. Minted in London I understand.

After paying off my mortgage today, I went into town to my local bullion dealer and treated myself to an 1880 'Mortgage mintmark' sovereign. Well, that's what I'm thinking the 'M' stands for.
