Bought this beauty from the Europeanmint, great price with the "beaten" PT took on friday.

U.S Gold octagonal 25 cents. Picked this up today, for some reason it's been on my wish list for a long time. California Gold, different denominations  up to $1, different manufacturers. Not officially recognised by the US government but accepted as currency for a while. 
We are talking tiny here, if you look at the size of it in the slab. How any one kept track of these I dont know, but happy to own a little bit of US history

Arrived this morning.  2020 1 oz silver and 1/4 oz platinum proof Britannias. 

20oz of lovely Kooks. I like the wings and feathers of the 2018 design.

Picked up this well loved Cyprus Half Sovereign. It’s a low mintage coin that was issued as the first independent gold coin after British left. 

Ok maybe not to everyone's taste but I have a thing for Ruthenium, maybe it's because my GFs name is Ruth?

Got this 5 ounce beauty this week - mintage 1.000. It'll go to @Numistacker for grading, hopefully a PF70 and then it goes to my retirement stack. Bought from @richatthecroft (tkx for letting me use your pics/ my cellphone camera is getting a bit old and I rather buy more coins than a new phone haha) In case anybody has one these gorgeous russian 5 oz'ers and you want to sell pls let me know. Always interested in getting my hands on more rarities.

Decided to photograph my whole 1967 collection (well, about 90% of it actually...) with the start of the new year. Let's see what additions will come by the end of 2020. 🧐

Thanks - getting a 70 for a 40+ year old coin is pretty amazing, im always chuffed to bits if i get a 70! Focus mainly on the gold ones, but have things like the silver crowns, proof coin sets from other countries too. Some of those I grade, some I don't.

Incredible coins, I can only dream 70s for my 1967 collection. 🤓
