I really like this coin (not just because it's made of gold 😅) and so happy to receive a PR70!

My sovereign from H&B has turned up as well. 
 
Normally I would weigh and measure the coins but don’t want to damage the “posh” capsule. Doesn’t look like it can easily open.

Received today from Harrington and Byrne, only ordered on Sunday night from their flash sale so very quick delivery.

So these turned up this morning.... Waiting on 1oz Gold but must say the 1oz Silver really depicts the Who.... some may not like the design and it may not be a 3 Graces but .....

Actually wanted a double sovereign and send it off to NGC but they seem to be sold out everywhere. 2 sovereigns instead from Atkinsons.

Recently picked up this 1993 kook whale privy from the UK. I know most ppl seem not to like the privy kooks, but I love them.  Well...the the 2 oz versions anyway. 😺🤷🏽‍♀️ 

Received from Drake Sterling this morning, only five days after purchase despite coming from Australia.
These are my fourth and fifth examples of the rare Melbourne Short Tail, an AU50 and an AU53, which are now going into storage for a few years. Hopefully there won't be many more on the market in the near future. If you have one, hold onto it, they just got rarer.

My first gold sovereign, inspired by a very kind forum member who sent me some old coins. I normally buy new coins. I likely paid over the odds for it but happy with it anyway.

I am slowly going back and uploading photos of my precious the shiny coins in my collection and I will start this of with smaug the Germanic beasts fafnir coins from @Panda6Pack.

I don't do proofs, so could well end up in the trade section very soon!😆

I received from a local auction house today. This 1931 hallmarked 22ct band was made by Albion Chain Co of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham between the wars.
I find buying the odd 22ct or 18ct gold ring is a great way to ‘stack’ or collect gold.
But there’s something about these old gold rings that’s makes me wonder, who they belonged to? Who treasured it? The symbol of love it once meant to someone? All of which of course I’ll never know. But at a little % over spot after auction fees they’re a great buy. They have that ‘yellow’ gold look, presumably mixed with silver.
At a fraction over 6 grams. I like this.
