I haggled them down to £675 in the end. It came in a Jubilee Mint presentation fdc, which I'm not too interested in. I did offer £650 but he then wanted to check price online so I stopped him in his tracks when I offered £675. The silver coin by the way was a freebie from my favourite bullion dealer in town.

I wonder what the horse was thinking when St. George's balls were rubbing up and down it's back? It might explain the expression on it's face.

That's 8 different versions of the QB dragon I have now!  And I'm pretty sure there are still 4 more.

Had this delivered today from @GoldShack. Its not mine, i saw it and showed my brother whos into that sort of thing and he went for it. Its his first piece of silver and his kinda thing so perfect for him. I later came to find out there's only actually 500 minted by the Royal mint.

Okay, don't take this too seriously -
It is a classic design which I love but from a practical viewpoint -
What on earth possessed George to ride bareback? No saddle to hang stirrups from. Essential if you want to give a good thrust with a lance. The fact that a broken lance is discarded on the ground shows what a bad mistake this is. Which leads onto George now using a sword. However, where is his sword belt and scabbard? Carrying both a naked sword and a lance leaves no hand available to control the horse with the reins.
George seems to have forgotten to put on his trousers or breeches, or any boots. The only other images I have seen of naked riders have been on dubious web sites featuring generously endowed young ladies demonstrating the rising trot. Riding with no leg protection or support in the gentleman's region is going to result in serious chafing and pain.  George also seems to have not given sufficient attention to his horse's bridle. It doesn't have a noseband which is essential to keep the bit in position. And there doesn't seem to be a brow band either, essential to keep the bridle on the horse's head.

Happy to add 'Silly Billy' Sov to the collection, from the Coin Cabinet.
V happy with their service, low buyer's premium, fast efficient delivery, low shipping cost. NZ customs can be very random so I like the customs declaration the Coin Cabinet put on the label "Collectable Token GBP20"! Technically I should have been charged GST (VAT) as it's 22k gold but avoided this extra hassle because of the label. I'm GST registered so not a biggy when they do get caught in the net!
